Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites HOUSTON-KINGWOOD

Only things lacking was shower cap and coffee applicance did not work. I went down for coffee in the luncheon room. The staff was co-operative and courteous. A business area with computer was a plus.

I enjoyed the stay! The room was very clean and nice and quiet! Loved the breakfast. I will stay there again!

Have stayed here several times because we have family in Kingwood. Room always comfortable and clean. Loss of Internet service for one afternoon and evening was the only drawback; however, this was due to construction in the area and was no fault of the hotel.

I was in Kingwood, TX on business. The hotel looks newly renovated with clean comfortable room, friendly staff and a good continental breakfast+(more than most that advertise a continental breakfast. All in all if I had to go to Kingwood, TX again I would stay there again.

We have stayed here several times en route to Galveston. My brother lives in Kingwood, so it is very convenient. The hotel is clean, and the staff is very helpful and friendly. Instead of the waffle machine at breakfast, they had a pancake machine. I'd never seen one before, but I was impressed with the ease of operation and the quality of the pancakes. Unfortunately, the rest of breakfast was below par.

Room was average, but clean. Smell of smoke in the hallway although we had a non-smoking room evidently other rooms on the floor were "smoking". Breakfast was good, hot and quite a variety.

My stay was comfortable. The bed was very comfy and I was surprised to see a large flat screen TV. They also offer free internet service and free continental breakfast. I did have problems with the air conditioning unit. It overheated and set off the fire alarm. Overall, this is a good pick for the price, but nothing special at all.

Check in with the unfriendly staff was like being booked into jail - all except the picture. The beds were as low as the A/C unit in the room with third-class mattresses. My back was killing me when I woke up! The shower curtain had black mold on it - I felt like I needed to a shower after my shower. The bathroom floor looked like someone had just eaten peanuts (I guess)on it. And the worst thing is that NO ONE asked me how my stay was. If I had stayed at the Hampton, my stay would have been free because I was not 100% satisfied!

Once we found it, everything was excellent from the room to breakfast the next morning. The current signage is difficult to see from the road, hidden behind several pine trees. Other than that, no complaints and a great experience. I would go there again.
