Overview

Classic details and sophisticated style give the Hilton Post Oak Hotel Houston its character. Emphasis on glass features comes from the imagination of renowned architect, I.M. Pei archways effortlessly draw in light and complement the stunning 14-story atrium. Guests can find an oasis from hectic city life in the rooftop pool, or lounge under an umbrella beside it. Mornings come in the shape of breakfast at The Promenade where you can add whatever ingredients you fancy to omelettes, enjoy sweet pastries, or just sit down with a bowl of fresh fruit with cereal. Dinner is also served in this American grille, while The Brittany Bar s dark woods and warm tones give it a cozy vibe for a post-work pint or pub grub.

Had a great time

Would recommend Thu, Dec 17, 2015
It was a wonderful long weekend with my son and friends. We came to watch the Patriots play the Texans. We enjoyed Houston and was able to visit many places like NASA and the zoo. As well as other sporting events like the rockets and a high school playoff game.

Nice hotel close to business

Would recommend Sat, Jan 17, 2015
Second time here to stay for business. Nice hotel overall, very convenient to my business needs in Houston (walking distance). Comfortable room with a comfortable bed (not easy to find these days.) Friendly staff. Only 'nit' was the room service dinner was subpar, but the cheesecake was very good. Will come back again.

Not what I expected

Would not recommend Wed, Aug 27, 2014
Where shall I begin, let's see I had to switch rooms three times. In the first room, the walls were stained, the furniture was old and had many stains, the bathroom tile was old and grout had some mold. I requested a cleaner room. The second room had the same old stained furniture, stained curtians, this was the most disgusting room, when I took a shower the water wouldn't go down and the water collected in the tub and there was lots of dirt surfacing. When the water went down I found that the drain was clogged with a large amount of hair and the dirt surfacing was someone else's disgusting dirt. I could have died it was horrible. I requested another room explaining the situation and again got a room that looked like the two others. I am so dissatisfied with the quality of this hotel. The only good thing they have is a great staff, everyone was pleasant. I hated this hotel.

Great hotel, great location!

Would recommend Mon, Jun 23, 2014
The hotel is large, spacious and is perfectly located, near the Galleria, restaurants, and very close to freeways that make all areas of Houston accessible. Just so you are not surprised: parking is an extra $16.00 a day.

Great Uptown/Galleria Hotel

Would recommend Mon, Apr 21, 2014
I spent a weekend here to get out of the DC scene and relax with friends, and it was in the perfect location since I was arriving at Houston-Hobby and leaving from Houston-Bush. Nice pool (good water temperature for this summer), spotless lobby and common areas, decent internet speeds in the rooms and in the business center downstairs. Staff and housekeeping were very helpful! My only complaint is that I was charged $50 for parking when I only came in to have my original parking garage ticket validated for the 30 minutes it took to check-in and get my luggage inside — I need to get that problem rectified.

Money saver

Use the Uber app on your smartphone for getting around the city without a car. It's cheaper than using regular taxis, unless you're going to the airports, then book SuperShuttle.
