Light sand and warm brown tones adorn the exterior of the Hilton Garden Inn Houston/Galleria Area, while the shaded outdoor swimming pool entices guests with clear blue waters. Foodies can try local Texas produce like fresh fruit, eggs and homemade bread at breakfast in the Great American Grill (and dinner is served here too). Or if you've had a long day, just pick up groceries at the Pavilion Pantry to prepare a microwave meal in your room. Accommodations range from large suites to standard guest rooms, while accessible rooms can be booked for those with disabilities. The in-room fridge also means that travelers can unwind with a refreshingly cool glass of wine before climbing into bed.

Sports fans can book tickets to an event at Houston's Reliant Stadium, which also hosts trade fairs and evening concerts.

Hilton Gardens Houston Texas

Parking was extra and expensive, bad move for those that come to Houston for Hospital visits. Staff is OK but they get you at the end. Breakfast is advertised as good, in reality is pathetic. I prefer to pay $50 more and stay in the Hilton one black block away where all things are included, even breakfast!

Not the Hilton Touch

Great location, minutes away from the Houston Galleria. For the price that I paid, it did not meet my expectations, especially for a Hilton quality hotel.

wonderful wedding weekend

It was a wonderful experience. Don't think you can find a better staff or service anywhere! As this was a first trip to Houston, I was really impressed with Texas hospitality!

weekend trip

our 1st trip to Houston and the hotel was a great pick. It was not far from any of the activities we had planned and we weren't on the road the whole trip. The rooms were nece. It had a mini frige and microwave that came in handy for snacks.

Sightseeing tip: Short drive from hotel

If you have a child you need to take them to the Childrens Museum. It is the best place we have taken our son. He loved everything about it.

Very pleased

Excellent location, 1 block from the mall and other great restaurants! Nice neat clean facility. Check in and check out was a breeze. Their cafe/restaurant was not good at all. We ate their for dinner upon arrival from a long day of travel and was thoroughly dissapointed. The breakfast buffet was so much better and that's the only meal I would recommend from the hotel. Free internet and business center was a real plus - no hidden fees for that. very pleasant environment, plenty of free parking. I would stay there again. Overall a great stay!
