Good for a layover
The hotel is clean, comfortable, and the staff was professional. The price was also great. If you are looking for the four seasons, this isn't it. But if you just need somewhere to spend the night on a layover--which is what this place looks like it is designed to be--you can get a decently comfortable, clean room at a good price.

I went to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo to see Janet Jackson. The hotel was was great except for the water pressure in the shower; I was a little disapointed with the shower. But other then that the hotel was really nice with a friendly staff. Overall the the stay was great.

Close, Clean & Cheerful
After 11 hours of flying we arrived way to early for check-in, however, the staff smiled said no problem and checked us in. Fabulous fresh clean beds--perfect! Thanks to all.

Humble, Tx is just a short drive away with many many very nice resturants and friendly people.

did not get a smoking room as requested. the hotel is now a non smoking hotel. They did not even have a smoking lounge. In the July Houston heat this is a definite deal breaker, especially since it was a family gathering with 4 families all who have smokers. On a score of 1-10. I give this hotel a 2. I will not be booking Hilton again.

Not "Business Class"
The taxi that was recommended and called by hotel staff is not honest, over-charges and then negotiates. Not exactly the caliber of referral I expect from a Hilton Hotel. Concierge could not find a fax I sent them. (they had it, just didn't look in the right place). This caused me to resend for no reason and make 4 long distance calls to finally confirm they received. Again, not quite what I expect from a Hilton Hotel staff. Next time we will stay at Embassy Suites or Doubletree.

The hotel was near IAH airport and eating places were all over the place! I found lots of nice restaurants on FM 1960 and HWY 59.
