Extended Stay Deluxe Houston
Very bad experience. Unwelcoming staff. The room was filthy and the furniture was junky. When I came home I came to know that they have charged me an additional amount for the stay 73.85$ [...]. So basically they double charged my stay. This amount is in dispute through my credit card company.

Worst experience ever.When i reserved the room through [...] i requested a non smoking roomI was forced to stay in a smoking room as the clerk at the desk said they didnt have anything else!!Dirty rooms. Everything was so old in the room. They management needs to renovate the place.They DONT HAVE ANY breakfast in the placeDont stay here!

Never again
There was rarely anyone at the front desk after 6PM. We waited 35 minutes in an empty lobby just to check in. The room smelled old, dingy, and smoky (despite being non-smoking). Never again!

Thanksgiving stay
Overall room was dingy (dirty carpets, old furniture, kitchen looked like it may have been new in the 80's) Difficult to find front desk staff- took 5-10 minutes per night to replace towels ($100.00 a night and we had to replace our own towels)- took 25 minutes to check out because the night person left and the day person was late... No cleaning service during the day (this was an extra $3.95 a day)

Hotel was OK. It was a little noisey. It was a little run-down, but adequate. The price was good. The location was good. Breakfast was a joke, but the coffee was good.

Late check in ok and mostly quiet. Very close to Hospitals and shuttle is well used. Pre packaged muffins and bagels and very strong coffee in the morning.

Rooms on small size,but ok. Some appliances did not work but were promptly replaced. Very convenient to MD Anderson and Metro rail. Not many good restaurants nearby. [...]

Good deal for the price
The hotel is clean and service good, for a very reasonable price. Early check-in (noon) was no problem. The location is great for me, being a short walk from the metro rail station to downtown. I've stayed here several times, preferring to cook my own dinners. One detraction: this was the first time they charged me an internet access fee ($5.42). Also, the printer in the lobby did not work so I could not print my Orbitz receipt for reimbursement.

painful visitor

The main reason for my stay at this hotel was for location convenience to Texas Orthopedic Hospital which was good. Following are the reasons I would not stay again: Room was extremly small and over crowded with furniture which made it hard to manuver. The kitchen was poorly equipped, looks as if they picked up the dishes and silver ware from a junk sale. I would not recommend this hotel for the price they charge. I have stayed in cheaper hotels that were more comfortable.
