Extended Stay America Houston - Westchase - Westheimer

The staff was friendly and the hotel was pretty quiet except for the annoying neighbor that kept letting the door slam at all hours. I was also in a no smoking section of the hotel but had a neighbor that thought if they left their door open to the hall that it would be ok to smoke. Overall this place was a decent price for a short business trip with a clean shower and an ok bed but would not choose to stay here for a recreational visit.

staff was friendly and helpful - I arrived before checkin time but they put me in a room immediately- the few problems I had (internet glitch) were solved quickly and cheerfully - room had large table with two good working chairs. sofa, recliner! and queen size bed. Lighting could have been a little brighter. Note that as extended stay hotel it does not provide shampoo, etc. but did have soap. kitchenette had stove with oven, fridge, dishwasher, toaster,coffee maker and microwave- frying pan w cover and sauce pan w cover. several plates, cups and modest amount of flatware. I had few questions as I know the area, but the few I had were answered helpfully. Hotel located off Sam Houston Tollway service road- easy access from the service road or from another parallel road- many stores and restaurants nearby on Westheimer road. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

I was a good place to stay. The rooms were nice and the hoel was quiet. I would recommend it to another business traveler who is traveling on a weekly basis.

The only thing I saw was there were a few uninvited guests. Not a bad location at all. Everything was right there which made it easier to get food and supplies. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Great experience. No dissappointment here.

This hotel is a great value. Good location, close to lots of dining and shopping options.

Clean, fairly new, well-lighted, excellent location. Reminded me of a Super 8 with a kitchen. Not fancy but a very good basic hotel - a very good value. They do have a coffee pot in the room, but bring your own coffee.

i love the extended stay ammenties like the kichenette and the the sleeper sofa, very roomy and comfortable, felt like i was home

The full kitchen is handy for the family type. The staff is great! Very helpful and friendly. A few minor things that can be improved and make this place a great place: 1. Serve breakfast! Since it is a family type of room, the family needs to have breakfast in the morning for the kids. Not all families will be cooking and utilizing the full kitchen. 2. Do not charge Hi-speed internet access. It is only $4.95, but this feature is almost a standard for most of the hotel. However, the night Manager did not cahrge me for that night even thought the hotel's website says it will charge $4.95 per stay. 3. The elevator has some smell even it is not to the point where it turns off people for not wanting to stay at the place.
