This place is shiny! Highly recommend!
This is the second stay I've had at this hotel and it was a FANTASTIC night spent there just like the last visit! The staff if very friendly and helpful, check-in is super quick and the scenery of the hotel is just gorgeous to take in while you walk through it. This hotel definitely provides a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere! The rooms are VERY reasonably priced along with being incredibly large and comfortable. Soft beds and large bathrooms await you; at least in the rooms with King size beds. The temp control is perfect and will allow you to reach meat locker temps if you tell it or the more comfortable icebox temp if that's what you or your roomie prefer. Breakfast hours are a good length of time in the mornings and offer a HUGE selection of food and drink options that should accommodate most all taste preferences with plentiful seating if it's just you or even if you have a party of many. Even with a large crowd there for breakfast there's still plenty for seconds and thirds and the staff is even awesome enough to come and help you clean up your plates as you go so you can keep on chatting without interruption of getting up to throw things away. Check-out can be summed up in one word: simple. Quick and easy work too if you have no bill waiting for you under the door on your way out in the morning! Just hand over the keys and head out the door on your way! With a check-out time of 11am, you've got plenty of time to lounge about in the PJs and enjoy that nommy breakfast before futzing with the clothes factor and the final packing so relax and stay a few more minutes in luxury before vacating! Any time I have plans on this side of Houston or not too far in the distance, I will definitely stay at this hotel every single time. I <3 Drury Inn Suites Houston West!

If you're looking for some awesome gaming recreation, check out MechCorps Battletech Pods located at Track21 Indoor Karting just down the road from the hotel! Great way to get your giant robots blowing things up on from your very own cockpit!

A dissapointment
Dissapointed in the 5:30 kickback. Food was not good at all and drinks were small and watered down. Not what we expected. TV does not allow you to rent movies. Have to settle for whatever's on regular programming. On the good side, breakfast was decent and wireless internet worked ok. Room was just so so. Staff very friendly. Probably would not stay there again.

Weekend Getaway
Overall we enjoyed our stay. My husband and I wanted a quick weekend getaway that did not require a long trip. The staff was great and the rooms were clean. I loved the fact we had a refrigerator and microwave in our room. The evening social hour was nice; however, I wish they had more of a selection on Friday and Saturday nights. They only serve chilidogs as the main selection on weekends. They explained it is what the kids visiting like. I visited a Drury Inn in Amarillo, TX in March of this year. They were able to serve chicken tenders, meatballs and hot wings on their evening buffet. It would have been nice to have some grownup appetizers to go along with our drinks.

Great family or single getaway
This was our first stay at any Drury Inn and we were thoroughly satisfied with the service and accomodations. We will definitely look for Drury Inns and Suites when traveling other locations.

You can access Katy Freeway (I-10) feeder road by using the side road that goes toward the Metro Park & Ride lot instead of having to get onto Hwy 6 and u-turning. It's a safer and easier access to Katy Freeway (I-10).
