Conveniently located Houston hotel with access to convention center
Crowne Plaza Suites Houston Sugar Land isn't technically a new hotel, but it feels like one. Fresh from a $7 million dollar renovation, the hotel offers guests a great value for premium oversized luxury suite accommodations. “Great Hotel- Amazing Staff”
I have stayed at the Crowne Plaza Suites for about 2 weeks and I have really enjoyed my stay. The best thing about this hotel is the staff. Everyone has been very friendly. The General Manager, the Desk Clerks, the Shuttle Drivers, the restaurant staff have all been courteous, helpful and friendly. I have gotten to know many of them by name and they have all gone out of their way to make my stay enjoyable. The hotel is also very convenient for me since it is just a five minute drive to my office in Sugar Land. I really enjoyed the complimentary shuttle service which they offer within a 10 mile radius and I used it extensively. The Rooms are large, spacious and very well appointed, the beds are most comfortable and the maid service is very good.

Granted that the hotel looks every nice from the outside and lobby area; however, they ran out of 2 queen bed room and gave me a king bed. When I booked through [...] 2 weeks before, I could have chosen a king bed option if I wanted it to. However, that wasn't the option that I picked. They did give me a roller bed though. Next, the water in the shower didn't drain fast enough so we basically took a shower in a puddle of water. Third, there was hair left behind from the previous guest in the tub. That was just right out gross. We don't want to come back to this hotel ever again.

We went to HOuston to follow the Mets. The hotel was very nice and the staff were very helpful, I highly recommend it.

unforgetable family get away im in a ahh
we turn the flat screen tvs right away loked at the view from the beutiful valcony we checked ut tne whole room that has everythin you need the only thing that we i sugest its to have the swiming pool more warmer other than that everything was fantastic!!!!!!

Crowne Plaza
Everything was nice the only thing was when i ordered food i didnt get everything i ordered. Once i called and told them they said they would bring the missing stuff up, it never came. Also took a while to get towels had to call two times then they came.

Disapointed
Thought this was going to be a better hotel when I saw the picture of the indoor pool. What a rip, Gym was being remodeled and is connected to pool. So no one wanted to swim. Every door I tried to use stuck. Was on the top floor, which was hot, until you got the A/C going. TV in the living area didn't work. Might as well had a room with just a bed and TV in it.

Fantastic place to relax in a city.
Went to the city for a weekend getaway to go see a show. Took a chance to stay at this hotel based on other reviews. I'm glad I did, the rooms are great, the bed is really comfy and overall it's in the heart of the city where everything is minutes away from it all. I would definatly come back.
