Thanksgiving stay

Check in was great i arrived early and they allowed me to check in straight away. got to my room which was also great but ... then when i left to go shopping i descovered that my door did not lock and it took over 30 mins to get it fixed. after that to enter my room still took numerous swipes of the card. nice that internet was free but no skype or messenger which kind of makes it hard to stay in touch. burger was amazing (way to much food for me)! gym was cool and in use could not get the room warm even with the air con although they boast about the sleep advantage i still found i was cold at night (maybe i just needed an extra body) found it weired the bar did not have a price list never ate in the restaurant dont even know if they had a thanksgiving special ?? staff are very helpful and friendly all in all not a bad stay

Do Not Stay Here

Our room was broken into the second night we were there and the tv was stolen. All our personal items were dumped and ... suitcase thrown across the room. Thank goodness we didn't leave any valuables in the room. The next night we retired early as our plane was leaving at 6 a.m. we just got to sleep and the fire alarm went off, 20 minutes later we find out it was a drill, so much for a good nights rest before flying out.

This was a great hotel to stay at in Houston. I was there to the the Step 2 CS. It is great, because the testing center is ... next door. You can just walk right over in the morning. They also held onto my luggage while I took the exam and then dropped me off at the airport to catch my flight back home. Great service at this hotel.

Rude night manager!

We had attended a church event there, and I just drove 400 miles and arrived at 2:00 am. I had very politely asked him if I ... can have a late checkout because I had just arrived and I had a church event to attend to. He said it couldn't be done! I have never heard that response before from a hotel employee, especially a manager! I didn't expect that... Especially from Crowne Plaza.

Flew in to visit a friend for a couple days - hotel is conveniently close to the airport. Staff was friendly and rooms were ... comfortable, clean and quiet. Unfortunately internet access in the room was an extra charge, but there is business center in the lobby so you can at least take care of basic tasks online. As far as location I'd say it depends on how much you want to be close to the airport - for my stay it worked out well. Overall a very pleasant stay, would definitely stay there again.

We had a nice time staying at this hotel. It's in north Houston and if you're driving, depending on where you're coming from, ... you have to take the toll road to get there. The staff was friendly, the room was really nice. We ordered room service and the food was great. I would recommend this hotel and I would stay there again.

Came to Houston for a one day meeting. Since this was my personal investment,Ipaying the bill and usually research well to ... where I am going to stay. I am looking for reasonable rates and clean, updated rooms and that is what I found andmore. They take care in makng you feel comfortable. Excellant bedding with lots of pillows, a welcome bag that had a mask, ear plugs and linen spray. Toiletries were above average, contemporary design, flat screen tv, and best of all fast room service.

I thought the hotel was very nice, very clean and just what I needed after being away from home for 3 weeks. I really wanted ... to see more selections on the restaurant menu. I went out to seek dinner at another location, but the area the hotel was located in was not the best. I would not wander out at night in that local. So, dinner at the hotel was a necessity and I wish they had more to offer. The rooms were outstanding. The bed was very comfortable.

Great location just off Beltway 8, minutes from airport. Rooms were spotless, nice beds and quality sheets, bedding and ... pillows. Nicely appointed rooms. Computer generated wakeup call recalled you in 5 minutes if you did'nt answer it the first time, like the snooze button.

I believe this hotel does have airport shuttles since it's fairly close to IAH.
