This is the best place to stay if you are on a budget. The rooms are very clean and staffs are very friendly. I stayed here at least 4 times within the last 3 months.

This is a very nice motel!

I liked this motel better than any other motel I have stayed in simply because it is very cheap and very nice and that doesn't happen very often. It has a small fridge and microwave and cabinets with plates and a table and comfortable bed. The only thing that is not that great is not alot of cable channels but no motel has direct tv. It is right close to alot of good eating places and its only 20 minutes from downtown Houston.

Expect what you paid for.

The price was very low considering it was a last minute book. The location was excellent. Everything was around us. The staff was friendly. However, when we arrived to our room, it smelled like cigarette smoke from previous guests. The smell was unbearable. It was like we were staying in a bar. They did not provide courtesy shampoo, blow dryer, or ironing board. They had a little table to do work on but no chair. I would only stay here if you were on low budget and for only one night.

Decent

It was pretty much what I paid for, but I could have used some amenities that can normally be found at other hotels. For instance, the room lacked an iron or a safe. The hotel didn't have an ice machine, though it did have a mini refrigerator with an ice tray. The location is good. It's not too far from I-10. There are lots of restaurants near by, so that was a plus. All in all, it wasn't that bad of a place for what I paid.

There's a Joe's Crab Shack right in front, but there are lots of other restaurants around.

Good enough.

The room was ok. Shower/no tub, sink, mini fridge, mini stove with utensils. Bed was very hard with pillows that were very uncomfortable. Bed Cover had a burn hole in it and the carpeting was well worn and dirty. Air conditioning was very good. Cable gave the general stations with 2 showtime stations and several espns plus local stations and several other stations. Had to call about getting new towels because the room wasn't cleaned everyday. No ice machine and no ice cube trays in fridge to make own.

Plenty of dining facilities in area. Either a short walk or short drive with plenty of options from fast food to barbeques to mexican to italian. Any kind of food was available in the area. My favorite was Big Daddy's B B Q. Their spicy sausage poboy was great and so was the brisket. Would highly recommend but isn't a dress up place. I think a lot of locals go there to eat.

Houston 6/18/11

Room was non-smoking and yet the room smelled strongly of cigarette. Front desk personnel said that they cannot control who smokes and who does not. Left all my clothes smelling of cigarette. Room was very small and did not look clean. Good thing was that they called to give me a remind about check-out time and allowed me to check-in before the normal time.
