We stayed one night with 7 people in 3 rooms. The location was perfect and the rooms were great. There are some points we disappointed. We asked extra shampoos and conditioners because we had three people in one room, but it took more than 40 minutes to bring them. We had no free water to drink ( It costs $4). They only had valet parking. The car came to us 30 minutes after our request. It takes time to provide service, but we concider it's good enough to meet the price.

Not so great Courtyard by Marriot
The hotel has a very small entrance making driving and unloading difficult. When we first arrived, no one was very helpful in assissting my wife and I. We were treated as though we did not belong there. The room was nice and clean, and the pool area was also very nice. The hotel was quiet. However, our room's air conditioner was not working correctly, so the room was very warm. Also come to find out, our shower did not work. The ladies who helped keep our room clean were very nice. Overall, the hotel stay was not worth the price.

Houston Courtyard
It is the "old style" Courtyard. There were kids in the hotel fro some sort of competition, and it was not as quiet as I usually expect a Courtyard to be.

nice hotel,friendly but slow service
The staff was very friendly, but it took 3 calls to the front desk before we got our refridgerator, blankets and towels delivered. The beds are not very comfortable. The hotel is nice overall with a great pool and exercise room.

NO FREE PARKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Location was close to House of Blues. There is no free onsite or offsite parking. There is a parking garage attached to the hotel, but no free parking. I paid $22 a nite (3 nites) for onsite valet parking, they parked my truck outside by the street, not in the garage... and left it unlocked with a window open, then it rained. 1st morning, housekeeping came by while we were getting ready , asked them to come back in 1/2 hr, we would be out of room...they did not. 2nd day, we called for set of sheets for sofa bed around 1:30 or 2 (housekeeping again did not clean room that morning), someone brought sheets to room, we asked about them changing the king bed or getting clean towels or more coffee, that person didn't have it or do that. I wouldn't stay there again if it was free.
