choose something else
beds are too small for two, the room was much smaller than the discription, the pool was not working, and breakfast was not included.choose the drury next door! much nicer, cheaper and breakfast is included.

no breakfast, no pool
chose this hotel after days of research, requested a pool,smoking and comp breakfast, at check in found out the pool is closed, no smoking and breakfast is not included, should have chosen another motel for less money!

Satified
Outstanding value
Difficult to find how to get into the parking lot but worth the effort. Staff very friendly, rooms clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the full service breakfast very much. Will defiantly stay here again.

The truth
It was a difficult location to find-streets are not well marked and open parking gate for late arrivals (midnight) was not marked. First morning while dressing I found a cockroach. After gathering courage I captured it in a room glass and took it to the front desk. She got the manager (also a female). The manager made the obligatory apology and merely felt for my level of agitation. Not perceiving a high level, she offered a 'free' breakfast or change of rooms (as if the roach family would only be in one room-or would I buy that?). My stomach was too squeamish to eat there even though I knew that just about anywhere we would eat would probably have the same infestation. The manager also offered that they have the exterminator come out almost once a month. I said, 'Please don't tell me he was out just yesterday' to which she responded, 'Actually, it hasn't been all that long ago he was out.' To my knowledge they didn't even give me a discount on the room. There was no complimentary newspaper outside any of the doors even though the hotel brochure said there would be.

Just what I was looking for.. Close enough to Minute Maid Park and downtown Houston; yet still reasonablely priced, clean and comfortable.
