Tiny room, but good for a night

I chose this hotel because it was within walking distance a business appointment. Location was great and the property itself reminded me of a small New York City hotel room or a European airport hotel (just the basics, super tiny, good for 1 person, but cramped for 2). It's basically just a place to sleep and take a quick shower, but fit the bill for my purposes. I parked my rental car in a garage across the street for $10. Overall, I would stay here again, but only for a night.

Great hotel in Downtown Houston

This hotel is fantastic! The staff are very nice, the room was comfortable - included a microwave and a mini-fridge, it was within walking distance of many great places in downtown. You really cannot get better than this! The only thing that I didn't like, is that I accidentally left a few things behind and when I called about them, I had to leave a message (which is fine with me), but no one returned my call...or my stuff. Just something to keep in mind when you're booking here.

Great Stay In Houston

Perfect location, great hotel. Would definitely stay here again. Everyone was very helpful and friendly, and service was immediate. Loved the purified water! Room was very quiet at night. Tip: If you're driving, follow the directions on the hotel website, not your GPS. The hotel's directions will take you up Rusk Street, which is where the Valet pick up is. If you come down Fannin, you'll get stuck having to drive a few blocks to come back up Rusk.

Many restaurants nearby. But, don't miss breakfast! This is a business area and noone serves breakfast late! Otherwise, many food options.

Good for a quick trip

I went to Houston for a quick 1-day trip to see a concert. I wanted to stay close to the arena and cut down on cab costs and such. This place is well located between the arena and a decent amount of bars and nightlife. Great for a place to sleep, but if you're planning to spend a lot of time in your hotel room, may want to look elsewhere. Oh, kudos for the free bottles of water!

Nightlife tip: Short walk from hotel

On the other side of the building is a GREAT bar called the Flying Saucer. Good place to grab a bite or a beer.
