not as good as I thought it would be

other reviews have said that the room was small. We thought maybe because from Texan's point of view, it's small, but maybe not that small. Well, it is small. As someone pointed out, it's more like a European hotel. True. I don't think Houston needs to follow the European lead though. The bed cover is nice, but because the slippery material, it kept on falling off of us. Bed is a bit small, too. And then you have to pay valet parking, about 21 dollars. That adds to the cost of the stay also. Valets were very nice. Value for the whole packet, not so much.

Good hotel but ---

Not clean around desk area --- apparently not pay much attention to details in cleaning Requested a quiet room/floor, far away from elevator BUT my room was next to elevator. The hotel staff gave no explanation why they couldn't honor my request.

Decent Value

The hotel room was small but nice. My boyfriend and I got a kick out of the free bottled water, it was a nice touch. The only thing I did not like about the hotel was that it had no parking. Valet only. But that probably is just how it is downtown.

Thanksgiving in Houston

We had a layover in Houston. Since neither of us had been there before we wanted to see more than an airport hotel. So we booked in the Midtown area to have easy access to 3 locations to check out. One we could walk to from this hotel and the other two were accessible by the light rail a block or two away. There appeared to be a lot of eating and drinking establishments within walking distance. The hotel itself was clean, quiet and the staff was friendly. Beware a cab ride from IAH airport to this hotel will cost at least $50.00 each way.

Great downtown deal

I was very pleased with my room, which was comfortable, stylish and clean. Brand new TV, free Wi Fi, free water, coffee in the room, hair dryer, and an adjoining restaurant with inexpensive menus. I couldn't have asked for more.

Club Quarters Houston

The room was clean, basic and a good value. Rather small room, but we were not planning on spending much time in the room anyway.

Modern functionality with great extras

Great for business travelers. My room was not large, but very comfortable and well furnished. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The lobby was comfortable and had everything a business traveler requires including computer stations, a great coffee maker, a large screen television, comfortable chairs, and internet connectivity. The extra's including chilled filtered water stations, late night food service also really added to my stay.
