Great conference accommodation

Would recommend Mon, Oct 19, 2015
I stayed here for 2 nights for the 2015 Grace Hopper Conference. The suite was clean, spacious and had a nice lounge area and sufficient charging points. A/C was a little cold, but it didn't bother me enough to try to figure out how to turn it down. Staff were polite and helpful.

Two day stay

Would recommend Tue, Sep 29, 2015
I saw a lot of reviews about construction in the lobby, but it's done! There's only construction on the buildings around the area, but it's downtown, so what do you expect. The staff was very friendly and helpful especially since it was our first time there. They also provide a shuttle to get through downtown, and valet is $20, cheaper than anywhere else. I would stay here again for the deal that I got.

Location for Minute Maid Park ideal

Would recommend Fri, Aug 28, 2015
Over all was good. Location was good for us to walk over to many places including Minute Maid Park to see the ball game. A few bars around, but also not too far to catch a cab to get to other breweries in the area. Construction at the hotel going on, but no big deal. Parking is a pain. Valet was convenient, but difficult to get to at first due to all the one way streets in downtown. Room was small, but comfortable enough. Only down was the technical difficulties they were having as I was trying to print airplane tickets. Make sure to do this with extra time if needed.

Good for the Price

Would recommend Mon, Aug 24, 2015
The hotel was fine, especially for the price which was something close to 40 lower than anything else in downtown Houston. The room was European in size but nonetheless adequate. I used the free high-speed internet easily. A couple of quirks: 1) floors share irons (no iron in the room), so I had a bit of a challenge securing one and the ironing board was small and rickety, and 2) free filtered water was available by filling up bottles from a dispenser down the hall. One big plus - the fitness center in the basement was very well appointed. The hotel was under renovation, which made the lobby quite crowded and the elevators were slow, patrons often waiting a few minutes to get one. And there is no covered driveway when arriving at the hotel - it rained while I was there and I got quite wet while grabbing a cab. All in all, while not the nicest place I have ever stayed, the price made it worthwhile.

family trip

Would recommend Tue, Aug 11, 2015
Hotel was not at its cleanness. Considering it was under construction it was okay. First impression was not so good. The front doors were dirty and finger prints all over made me think twice about my stay. Staff was okay, until I called front desk one day to get my car that I valet and when l went down the lady never inform the attendees to get my car. Other than that it was okay for the price. Rooms were cleaned but had a weird smell to it.

First time visiting Houston. Was looking for somewhere nice and convenient, as I was in town for both business and pleasure. Walking distance to the arena where the Rockets place, as well as many local restaurants. Would stay here again.
