Good value but still a cheap motel
Staff was friendly and helpful; you will have to ask for what you need (such as coffee). Shuttle was prompt. This is an older property, beds are not very comfortable and walls are thin. I found it difficult to sleep, woke up (usually due to noise) every 2 hours. There are no blinds and you can see through curtains at night! Check your room from the outside - I placed luggage on top of tv shelf (which blocks window) which I thought solved the problem until I noticed 2 males outside my room through the cable hole in cabinet! Budget motel with budget sheets, towels, etc.

It Works
Nothing too fancy but great location with friendly staff. Rooms are a bit old-fashioned but they "work".

You get what you pay for
I went for the Final Four because this hotel was close to Reliant Stadium. The staff was friendly and hospitable. The kitchen was nice but the free breakfast was basically coffee and some fruit. The rooms were average. The shower could use some work, as it looked old but it functioned. I'm not sure I'd go back to this hotel because it didn't offer much besides a bed and doesn't have much around it to do, other than Reliant Stadium.

Worth the cost
Definately worth the price. We stayed here to attend the college basketball Final Four and this hotel was walking distance to Reliant Stadium. Would need to take a cab or drive into downtwn Houston though. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were nothing special, however they were clean, provided free wireless internet, and everything was in working order and as expected for an inexpensive stay.

Close to medical centers; free shuttle are a plus; fairly clean room but the lighting was poor!

Good for the price....;o)
It was ok. We usually stay at this hotel due to md anderson being near by, this time around it was noisy due to hotel remodeling, the shower would not let out enough hot water and the towels were old and stained. Had to go out to buy new towels. The continental breakfast wasn't good they didn't provide a variety or at least milk for the cereal. The hotel is looking good. Once the remodeling is done it should be nicer than before.[...] On the other hand the staff is real nice. I would stay there again by then I would hope that the problems would be fixed. Azul
