My stay was enjoyable nothing to complain about. I was in town for a short stay.

I was in Katy for my nephew's graduation. Front desk people were very nice and the room was very clean. Location is great, you have everything you need locally. Love the fact that they offer the use of the laundry facilities for free. My only complaint was that housekeeping was trying to get me out before the check out time.

I was on a two day photo shoot in Katy and I have stayed at a few places. As far as the room and amenities it is a great place. The main problem is the housekeeping. We stayed in a non-smoking room and it was obvious the people before us had been smoking. There were ashes on the stove and a cigarette burn on the toilet. The carpet had not been vacuumed in some time because there was dirt on the floor and dust and dirt around the walls about 3 inches from the wall. The shower curtain was ripe with the smell of mildew and body odor. The refrigerator while appearing to be clean had a horrible fish or shrimp odor which spoiled the ice from the in room ice maker. If housekeeping would take a little more care this could be a real good deal at a bargain price. We normally would have asked for a different room but we were too exhausted and had too much equipment to move.

This is the best spot to stay because I was very close to the Outlet, Katy Mill Mall, and Clubs.

We had a great stay at Candlewood. Loved the convenience of a kitchenette in our room.

Good experience over all... They were suppose to offer several types of pillows but when the request was put in, they told me they weren't trading out pillows. The rooms are not cleaned everyday, only once a week. If you want new sheets you'll have to take them off and take them to customer service to trade them in.

Hotel was clean, staff was friendly however my car and another van were broken in to one night to steal out GPS. My car was parked directly in front of the hotel doors. The hotel has no outside security cameras and it is more of an extended stay hotel so the front desk closes at 11 pm. I suspect the people who broke in to my car knew this. Other cars in the lot also had GPS units visible but were untouched. Both vehicles had out of state plates so don't know if that had anything to do with it but suspect so. Management was "apologetic" but offered no assistance at all except to call the police. We were in town attending a family funeral so a little more sympathy would have been nice. Stay at your own risk and take all your valuables inside with you.

Due to our late arrival (airplane-delay)nothing was deducted from our cost(no-one) was at the admitance desk(had to call for assistance)
