Vandalization - no help from hotel

On 6/06/2011 our vehicle was vandalized within 100 feet of the front door of the hotel and in complete view of security cameras. Staff was not helpful in getting the police out, and another vehicle in the same lot was also broken into via smashed windows. Our vehicle sustained over $8,000.00 damage. It took police over two hours to show up. UNSAFE !!!

Disappointing

When we arrived we were shocked at the layout of the property. It was difficult weaving through the parking lot in order to reach the front door... which was in the back?? When we reached the lobby there was a family, they seemed like members that must have been rlated to the desk clerk? Regardless, There was a VERY STRONG smell of curry. This smell was in our room on the 3rd floor... it was very strong!! The a/c is on some typ of timer that cuts off when you exit the room and takes 15 minutes to come back on! It was very warm in our room. Having the a/c coming on and off all night was not good for sleep! The "indoor pool" is a very long narrow pool... we thought it was very small. Besides, it was an indoor pool and was very green? With all of the things going around, we were two afraid to swim! I got up to make coffee this morning and the coffee machine was diry where you placed the water for brewing. We were so disappointed.

No Cigar

I have stayed in Candlewood Suites and all were 3-4 star. All had nice lobbies, great breakfast and even happy hour in some. This one gad none of that. While nice and clean it was much more like a Homestead Suites than a Candlewood. Much more deserving of a 2+.
