Good cost/value. Room for improvement
Overall stay was good. Night staff on Thursday Nov 19 after 11:30 was very rude and careless for the customer. Room are very noisy due to the proximity of I45, need better sound insolation on doors and windows. Recommend that staff clean table at least every 30 minutes during breakfast (some guess did not clean after themselve, making the place look as a war zone)

Bay mount Inn - Houstopn
Located right off Interstate 45 - therefore you'd expect some noise. I had never been to Houston before and was making reservations over the internet. We only stayed one night there, as we were on our way to Galveston to board A Canival Cruise Ship. When I was checking out, the desk-person said they could make arrangements to gete us to Galveston. The price quoted was substantially less than what I had contracted with another company. When I talked with someone from the Baymount over the phone, when making the reservation, I had asked about vehicular service from Houston to Galveston and they were not interested in supplying any information, at that time. There were roaches in the bathroom - I would not stay at that Motel again.

Avoid this place if possible!!
I want to start out saying that when I read the other reviews, I thought people were being too picky on their hotel stays. We got this room for $50 and I thought it was a steal being a three star hotel; but now I know why it was so cheap. We were looking for a good priced hotel half way between Austin and the Ren Fest so we can crash and not have to drive all night. So all we really wanted was a place to sleep. However, the place was horrible and sleep was the last thing we got. First going into the hotel, the parking was horrible and hard to get a spot. All the available parking near my room was handicapped and the nearest regular spot was 10 cars away. Going up to our room on the second floor, you could tell the wear and tear of the building was more then normal and seemed to be border line safety hazard. When we went in the room we thought we finally saw why the hotel would be deemed three stars. Everything seemed clean and orderly. We did notice that the "microfridge" and iron were missing from the room but it was no biggie; again just staying for the night. Upon turning down the bed, I found....hair woven into the sheets (not the kind from your head) and didn't think it was too big of a deal, so I just grabbed a tissue and picked them off, pushing one side of the sheets over. The bed itself was not very comfortable at all. It was WAY to unsupported, think air mattress that has gone flat. The bathroom was also a wreak. The shower was tiny and (finding this after I showered) had mold and mildew all over the place, and the hot water only lasted about 10 minutes. (The provided shampoo was Pantne Pro-V!!) This brings me to my final experience of the night, trying to sleep. I am a VERY heavy sleeper and pretty much nothing will keep me awake. But the noise level at this hotel was just beyond horrible (there was weather stripping that was missing from the door that could have contributed to the noise).
