What you get for the price
My room was clean - that was the main thing I cared about. It is noisy though (as it is located RIGHT next to I-45). The side road the hotel is on is 3 lanes, so that has a lot of noisy traffic as well. ALSO - a lot of truckers seem to park there, so you hear them coming and going. If you just need a place to rest your head this will do. A fridge in the room would be a good upgrade if they are looking for ideas.

real nice for the price

Be careful with the details
I booked this room since on the pictures they have a refrigerator. After me and my wife got our room info from the rude front staff and got into our room we discovered nothing was as pictured. Needless to say I was pretty ticked since I had nowhere to put my food that I took home from one of our favorite restaurants. Like i said before, call ahead and verify that what your booking is the same as whats pictured.

Great lodging in Houston
Our visit to Houston included two nights at the Baymont. The room was very clean, spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The desk, chairs, easy chair, lighting and TV enabled us to enjoy our stay when we were not gadding about. The location is right off I-45 and we didn't have to go far to find fast food, restaurants, and shopping. Ample parking right outside our door was wonderful. Mother Nature provided delightful 78 degree weather in January. All this, and the price was nice.

Short Stay
Remodeled and clean lobby. Friendly staff. We had reserved two rooms. One for us, one for our son. The beds in our room were confortable and clean, however, the beds in our son's room had bed bugs. He didn't notice until late at night, so didn't say anything until the next day. I guess you get what you pay for...

this place is awful. i came to town to see family so i made a reservation for myself and my family. THIS PLACE IS ATROCIOUS! DO NOT STAY HERE!

weekend getaway
I was in this hotel for 4 nights. after the very first night there we went shopping for almost the entire day and went back to the hotel. the room wasn't cleaned up! obviously i didn't leave the "do not disturb" sign on the door. it was 8 o'clock at night and the people at the front desk told me that they could get to it first thing in the morning. Lame solution! i was expecting some kind of perk or treat for their poor service one-day-in my reservation. they didn't bother to be sure i will take my business with them...so i won't. They also tell you that you get wi-fi on every room... and you don´t. you have to move outside the room to get the signal...not a great service.there were 3 of us in one room and every single day we were left with two towels... At morning when we requested another towel we had to get it on the front desk. and when you are on the other side of the hotel that's not comforting
