The Baymont Inn and Suites Houston Hobby Airport is less than two miles from the airport with easy access to many attractions - NASA Space Center, Astrodome, Reliant Center, George R. Brown Convention Center, Minute Maid Park and the Museum District. Port of Houston, Kemah Boardwalk, La Porte and Galveston are only a short drive. We are close to Almeda Mall and to the AMC 30 Movie Theaters. There is SuperTrack for Go Cart racing and also the Greyhound Race Track.

Very Bad Lodging

We were there for evaluation at MD Anderson Cancer Center. First room was to be non-smoking but you could smell someone was ... smoking in there. Our room was changed. The next room the toilet wouldn't flush and almost flooded the bathroom. Call was made to front desk but Maintenance came in the evening of the following day and said it was okay but you have to hold the handle down until it flushes completely. Stains on carpet floor. Received two wake up calls at 3 and 4 am, but we did not request a wake up call. Tried to contact front desk but was not available for almost two hours. TV images were dark red. Again is was not until the second evening that someone came and adjusted the TV. Caulking around tub was dirty. Overall not very clean. Spoke to Manager about these problems. She was very nice[...]

It was difficult to find the hotel after dark because their street sign was unlit. The property itself is behind other ... buildings, making it difficult to find. Locks on my door were very loose - and the doorknob lock didn't work properly - since rooms are open to the public (no hallway), I didn't feel secure/safe in the room.

I have never stayed at such a foul hotel in all my life. The rooms smelled so bad like mildew and smoke, I literally had to ... take the desk clerk from room to room until i found one that was tolerable. I ended up going to get candles from Walgreen's to help cover the smell. There was rust stains in the tub and the toilet would not flush unless you held the handle until the bowl was flushed. The final straw was the humongous water bug that looked like it had been dead for a long time behind the night stand when I went to move it out to make sure that I hadn't left anything behind. Imagine my surprise looking at that giant roach realizing that it had been in the room with me for 4 days I will never stay at a Baymont hotel[...]This was definitely not worthy of 2 stars let alone 3. Very disappointing [...]

Difficult to locate and needed several phone calls...don't use google maps! Once we arrived it was very nice, security all ... night on premises, extremely clean, and very nice staff. Linens and room were comfy and fresh in appearance. We enjoyed our stay immensely

1. We could not find the hotel. It was located back a "street" behind several other buildings. You could not see it from ... the main street at all. The staff was extremely pleasant. They were all very nice and very helpful with everything. After we got our hotel key, we parked and set off to our room. The second we opened the door we were horrified. A musky, damp, moldy odor hit you as you walked in. The smell alone could have scared us away but we decided to check the rest of the room out. The beds were extremely small and the carpet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a year. And if the carpets hadn't been cleaned in a year then the bathrooms hadn't been cleaned since they first went in. I would never stay at this hotel or any Baymount for that matter ever again. I would rather sleep outside!!!

The sign had no light which made it difficult to find, like in a cave. When we got there they claimed that we reserved 5 ... rooms! Something was fishy. Wrong side of neighborhood.

I've stayed at much better Baymont Hotels.It was alright for just me But I wouldn't bring my wife there. The shower had a ... hand held shower and I didn't like to hold onto the shower head while I shower.They ran out of ice twice and I was there for 2 days.

The motel was clean, nice pool, good service.The problem was that they did not have my [...] reservation in their system and ... it took over 1/2 hour to check in. I don't know if it was their fault or [...] fault, but it was lousy. A better run hotel would have put me in a room immediately and cleared up the problem on their own time and not have me standing at the front desk all that time.

The rooms were nice for the price. They had nice furniture but it smelled old and musty. There was some mold in the bathroom. ... The staff was very friendly and the pool was very nice!!
