decent room
The hotel was little hard to find, it is right off the highway but behind a Mexican restaurant. The room was comfortable and perfect for what we needed, which was really just to sleep. The electricity was out when we got there because a generator for the whole block had blown. Staff still was able to check me in and give me my rooms keys. About 15 minutes it was back on so not really that big of a deal. The breakfast was ok, but took forever since there was only 1 toaster for everyone. Also our bath tub did not drain properly so we had to shower pretty fast so it did not fill the tub up to much. I did want to make coffee in the morning, we had a coffee maker but no coffee pot :( Overall good room for a good price.

Only thing this place needs is a real (hot) breakfast. Otherwise very good value for money, location a bit obscure but has the virtue of being away from traffic noise on the Gulf Freeway (I-45)

Up all Night
Could not sleep do to noise. Thin walls, pipe rattling, slamming doors all night..until 3:30am. Started to finally dose off... Not... trash truck outside at 4am.. Gave up trying to get some rest. Took a shower and left at 4:30am.. Made for a long day with zero sleep. Don't recommend ,

The hotel was a perfect choice easy access to freeway , The staff was excellent and nice and quiet stay. Will use this location again.

Budgeting Mom
Great stay for family on a budget
We stayed at the Baymont for 4 nights at $40/night. The hotel staff was wonderful, even upgraded our room to a room with fridge and microwave for free and let us check in 2 hours early. Checking in was very easy, staff was friendly. Breakfast was great, room was always clean and beds made. Rooms are older with a couple carpet stains (red juice of some sort) and bathroom was old, but again alway clean. Fridge and microwave worked, TV worked, A/C worked well. We would definitely return if we go back to Houston.

Not so good
The Hotel was not so pleasant because there was huge roaches all over the place and my room key would not work so i had to go back and fourth to the front desk to get it activated again.
