The hotel worked fine for me, they offered a complimentary breakfast and it was conveniently located by the airport. The only ... negative I found was that the non-smoking room I was in smelled like cigarette smoke.

Bring your GPS to get around; it's not an easy city to get around. Lots of U-turns. You have to travel about 10 minutes to find a decent restaurant because you would not want to eat out in this section of town (hotel location).

room were not ready by 1:30 in the afternoon did not arrive back at hotel till 3:30am they could not find reservation for 30 ... minutes then charged me an extra 45 dollors

Unbeatable location for the price

I was MORE than pleased with this inn. 4 stars for sure. Here's why: 7 mins from IAH airport, very clean room, excellent ... front desk person, free continental breakfast (very good), spacious parking right out front, free shuttle to and from the airport every half hour, delicious cookies to eat at the front desk, very quiet area, and the bed was quiet too.(wink wink) No mold, mildew or funny smells of any kind. Flat screen TV and excellent connection to the internet. Iron, ironing board and hair dyer was in the room as well. We even asked for a late checkout (2pm) and that was no problem either. All this for only $49 bucks a night. I felt like I was ripping THEM off! Stay here my friends and you WON'T be disappointed. I would DEFINATELY stay here again. Don't forget to tip the maid a couple bucks. She has to eat too ya know. The room was spotless. Oh, and one more thing: This is a 2 story inn without any elevators but the stairway to the second floor is only about 15 or 16 steps up. If you prefer staying on the second floor, trust me, you can handle the short climb up. Don't be a baby. Just call it....exercise. :-) To all the ladies who are reading this review.....my girlfriend (Michelle) was very pleased with this place and she is just like you....VERRRRRRRY par-TIC-u-lar as to where she lays her head. On a scale from 1 to 10, she gave it a 9 and she's hard to please. (in more ways than one) Come in with a smile and you'll leave with a smile. This place is great.

Only problem with hotel is that the front lights (sign and all) were not lit and we arrived after dark - it took us a bit to ... find the hotel. (Other side of hotel was under contruction - hence no lights)

Great place to stay for USMLE CS

I stayed here to take the USMLE CS. It was a short walk from the testing center or they will drive you down so you have no ... test day transportation worries. My room was nice and quiet with a nice desk for some last minute studying. Good complimentary breakfast in the morning too. It's nothing luxurious but I couldn't be the price or location for CS.

I was on business in Houston. I felt the area wasn't the safest for a single woman. They did have security patrolling the ... parking lot but when I asked the front desk gal about going for a run in the morning, she said she didn't feel it was safe to do that alone. The staff were very friendly and I so appreciate customer service. The breakfasts each morning exceeded a complimentary breakfast expectation. The rooms need to be updated and could use some TLC in the cleaning department. I would still recommend this hotel if the person knew the caveats of the place.
