Hotel appearance very run down
declining area, lots of street people hang around. No real upkeep of the property and room was dingy. TV did not work properly and bed sheets looked old. Would not stay again. The free breakfast is a joke. I microwaved instant oatmeal with a styrofoam bowl and melted the bowl after just 2 minutes.

horrible experience with hotel
Room was very hot and there was a very NASTY smell in the room. Although, the hotel states wifi as on of the amenities wifi didn't work. The ice maker didn't work, the coke machine drinks were not cold and in the vending machine the item I got was melted. The water ran VERY slow when I took a shower. I will NEVER book this room again and I am very dissatisfied.

Horrible Lopsided Bed
The Picture of this motel, is decieving and decepted.As a world traveler, I stay in many good and bad hotels, this one blew right out of a horses firig hole. The room they gave me had two beds. The one I got was lopsided, I had to sleep on the side that was not collapsed. It felt so uncomfortable through the night and woke up with a bad back. The walkway upstairs had a fake green carpet lay but not installed, alongside it stick out, dangers and hazzard, building delapidating. the breakfast they adverstise was is to get you in to book, but dont " the coffee was so weak and gross, it was just plain brown watery. ugh. stay away from this Hotel and stay at a 5star Hotel instead. BTW, I told the front desk about the bed sistuation, they look at me as if they were SO suprise to hear about this bed in room 212. Something told me they knew about it b4, and did nothin to fix it. Lets see if this time they fix it.

Very Upset Daughter
Terrible experience
I made the reservation online for myself and my family for the night before my mother's brain surgery. When we arrived they could not find our reservation so they made us pay again, it took them 30 minutes to look for the second reservation that I had made for an aunt and an uncle. It was very stressful when we were all already on edge. It created more anxiety and I was very upset that I made a mess with this reservation when I thought I had made it easy for my mother. [...]

Our Trip to MDAnderson
This was a horrible room! It was smelly, ceiling patched, commode tiny and patched, sliding glass door opened and unlockable ! I was not told of the Med. shuttle or discount. I have written Howard Johnson about this unkept place!

Hotel Horror
Building hotel was very poor (examples: exterior door panel was broken, several lights not working, interior walls in terrible condition). The room was on the ground floor and upstairs room residents create excessive noise. Residents using the exterior stairs and balcony walkway also created excessive noise. The lobby lounge and breakfast area was clean but is poor condition and could not handle the number of diners.
