Americas Best Value Inn

the room is kind of smelly when oping the door, but after using the fan for a while, it's ok to stay in, the breakfast is not so various in types. the room is relatively clean

Continental breakfast morning is great, There is a beautiful selection of various choice to chose from. I had plenty of room, the bed was super cozy. The televition picture was perfect there was a desk and living area (couch) I could get work done and relax. there was also a pool, The staff was remarkable they had answer for all my question. My room was also cleaned daily during my departures. The location is close to everything. I will surely visit again!!!!! Thanks for all the great time.

the only problem is that there was only 9 channels on the tv and 4 of them where in spanish,

America's Best Value Inn was exactly that, you get the Best Value for what you pay. I shouldn't have expected much for what I paid but just be aware of that going into the situation. The outlets in the bathroom area did not work, there were cigarette burns on the sheets even though it was a non-smoking room and the maid service was okay the first day when we left early for our day's adventures but the next day we had a late start and just happened to be there when they came to clean the room. That day they did a rush job and only cleaned half the room. For some reason, after that day, they never completed the job! This is a hotel I recommend to stay at if you don't intend to spend much time in the hotel room.

This hotel is on the north-east side of the Houston beltway, and is in a convenient location to get to the Galleria (15 minutes), Downtown (25 minutes), etc. It is your standard mid-price hotel - doors go to the outside. There is a basic breakfast (cereal, muffins, waffles, coffee, etc.). No wireless access in the rooms, but there is a computer in the lobby area with internet access that anyone can use. The bathroom is clean with a separate vanity area. It's clean enough, comfortable, not too loud, and is a good option in this price range.

The Americas Best Value was fairly comfortable. I like that they have microwaves and small refrigerators in the rooms. The rooms are clean and the upkeep on the hotel looks good. The continental breakfast is decent too. I like that they have wi-fi.

There were several things missing. I specifically asked for Double occupancy and there was one SYTROFOAM CUP for the morning coffee. The provided blow dryer did not work (Thank Goodness I brought my own. The toilet paper was almost out. AND there was no kleenex tissues. Started out as a great stay, but kinda fizzled. Also, the pool....it was drained.

Overall, this is a good hotel. I found the staff to be helpful and kind. The room was large with sofa,coffee table,desk & office chair as you enter; an arched-partial wall separated it from the kingsize bed. Fridge and micro worked well and most of the bathroom had been remodeled (I especially liked the arcshower rod). It was ok as far as cleanliness, and the bed was comfortable. It is right on the frontage rd, but noise wasn't a problem. There is a Mc D's one bldg over and a Starbucks a block away. I felt safe doing my 2 mile walk in the residential area a block away.
