Budget hotel near Mexico border and the beaches of South Padre Island

Great Hotel for the Money
A refrigerator or microwave would have been nice. But for the cost the hotel was a good value. Clean and a/c worked good. Easy access to the highway and local eateries. Also this is a pet friendly hotel with no additional charge! That was Great!

Valley Get away
Central location, easy access. Spent most of my time visiting Padre Island. Friendly staff. No frills but good value for the price.

Great Value for the area
When you stay in the Valley there is so much humidity that hotels have a hard time keeping the mildew and mold controlled which leads to a musty smell. I walked into my room and it was clean and fresh- something you really looked forward to after driving for 10 hours to get there.

good location
water smells fishy and drains in the shower were clog, also no water pressure; oil spray for the waffle machine was not available after the first one run out, staff did not replace it,I was unable to make myself one. Rooms were neat and clean.

nice smell and clean
when I first got there I was tired and I went to bed it was awesome because every thing was clean. The only thing that this hotel missed is the refrigerator because I'm diabetic and i have my medicine that i should keep in the refrigerator!!!
