Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites DFW-GRAPEVINE

No hot water to the shower but there was some to the sink. Went to friends room to shower. Brought it up to the staff and felt blown off. Ask what they were going to do about it and said they would have the manager call me Monday when she came in. I'm still waiting for that call. Not happy with my stay there at all.

Very nice but the pillows are too soft I like feather better.

I had to tell my wife that if she found a 24" long brown hair in my luggage, it was from the room and for no other reason... pillow could have been cleaned before I got there.

Great overnight stay. Used the airport shuttle and it was fantastic!

It was a nice hotel however the current construction on the interstate made access difficult from Grapevine.

Hotel was perfect for the event we attended. Continental Breakfast was decent and rooms were clean.

Our group was attending a conference at the Gaylord Texan which was 3.8 miles away and very expensive. The room rates were very reasonable and to our surprise they offered free shuttle service within a five mile radius noting that airport service was first priority. Upon arrival the staff was completely friendly and supportive. Originally there was a schedule posted for the BeautiControl Conference shuttle service to run on the hour and half hour, there were more than 20 attendees staying at this hotel. They provided shuttle service to the store or wherever you asked within their range at any time provided there was not an airport call. Our conference did not include dinners and there were events in the evening, often requiring the need to go back to the room to change. Our second day we found that the shuttle schedule for conference attendees was changed to hourly. This tightened schedules for attendees and although they have two shuttles (holding 11 passengers) they were not both always running. Unfortunately we ended up waiting for a shuttle to arrive to take us back to the hotel for dinner and to change for over two hours. The hotel desk personnel were rude to us and the others when we called to see where the shuttle was. So we decided at this time to call Pizza Hut to deliver dinner to the hotel and were able to catch a taxi along with two other attendees. We expressed our displeasure with the desk attendants and received no empathy. Later that evening the manager called in another shuttle driver and put them on call for the next evening. If this overall situation had not happened we would have most likely book at this hotel again for the conference in the future. We will most likely book another hotel that was more attentive to the shuttle needs during this conference (and one with a refrigerator in the room). Otherwise, the breakfast buffet was pretty decent every morning and we had no other complaints. The staff was mostly cordial and the shuttle drivers were nice. They did hold our luggage after check out while we attended the conference and provide us shuttle service to the airport from the Gaylord Texan. In other situations this would be a good place to stay.

We were traveling to DFW for flight out early next morning - very convenient to airport. We were able to walk to nearby restauarant for dinner. Enjoyed relaxing at the pool. The only thing we needed was a microwave for breakfast items we brought (hotel breakfast was not open as early as we needed for our flight). Otherwise, great hotel!

We were in town for a Marriage Conference and we love staying at the new Holiday Inn Express, it is very comfortable and clean. They even had fresh baked cookies for us at check in; very friendly staff!
