Welcome to Howard Johnson Express Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie, Texas. We are less than a mile away from Lone Star Park, Verizon Theater, GPX Skate Center, Wax Museum & Ripleys Believe It or Not. We are 5 minutes to Six Flags over Texas, Hurricane Harbor Water Park, Ballpark Arlington, and Traders Village. Close proximity to Cowboy Stadium. Here on business? Were right in the middle of everything! The Southwest Airlines Reservation Center, LTV/Vought Aerospace are less than 5 minutes away. In less than 20 minutes you can be at hundreds of businesses including Lockhead/Martin, Bell Textron, Motorola, Naval Air Station or the new Carswell Naval Air Station/Joint Reserve Base, Ft. Worths Alliance Airport, Baylor Medical Center, Texas Instrument & many, many others. Since were exactly half way between Dallas & Ft. Worth. Just another motel but it was convenient

was one of the cheapest hotels in the area of Rangers and Cowboys stadiums. About 6 miles away. The neighborhood wasnt the greatest but we had no problems.

Interesting place to stay

Was visiting the area for business as well as leisure and chose this hotel based on cost and location. The staff was very friendly, the room was very clean, however we could not access the wi-fi in the room at all and we had to remind the staff a few times to replace the coffee and towels. That we needed more than 2 towels in the room and a few other issues. All in all this is a nice place to stay. The continental breakfast leaves a little to be desired, as they should offer some sort of fruit option for those people that cannot have breads or other items that were offered.

Plenty of choices for delivery from pizza to Thai and steaks... all is just a phone call away and free local calling makes that a breeze.

Great Experience for cheap...

Room was clean, even though it was smoking it didn't s melllike smoke at all. Staff was very helpful andfriendly. On my next visit to that city I will stay in the same hotel.

Everything is a short drive away, cowboys stadium, six flags, wet and wild, rangers stadium, food etc.

Good place to stay

Good place to stay. Clean room and hosekeeping did excellent job each day freshing up room. Not my first time to stay here. Rates are very reasonable.

mother going into hospital for surgery

even tho i asked to be moved to a room that was easier to get into, my 75 year old mother and myself, i use a cane to walk still had to park 3 spaces down from our room.( the room we moved to)

good, clean overnight stay

it was clean, large room, quiet, good breakfast, decent location. Carpet was showing wear, had a little trouble with the air conditiioner, but solved it. I liked the extras, like breakfast, refrigerator, and big room, but it laced a little luster: showed its age, but was worth its price.
