nice hotel
i like the stay on this hotel ,the location is very good near to the beach , the bed is comfort and the room is big i like it alot i will come to this hotel again

Nice for a short stay
The rooms are older but updated and relatively well-kept. Being so close to the water and high humidity has to be a challenge. The breakfast was excellent and beds acceptably comfortable.
Biggest issue was with other guests who were extremely
noisy and inconsiderate. Up at 1-2am yelling and carousing in the parking lot and entering/leaving rooms repeatedly.
Maybe I'm just getting too old ???

Spring break.. meh
We went there on Spring Break, so the rooms were quadrupled their normal rates, and we decided at the last minute to bring one more person (4 instead of 3) and they charged us extra for this. The front desk staff was pretty rude and didn't really understand English, the power went out for a few minutes on second night, and the breakfast kind of sucked. All they had was mini pastries, a waffle machine that everyone used, and abnormally sour orange juice. Wasn't worth the price we paid, but other times of the year I would recommend it because of it's location so close to the beach and within a mile from pleasure pier and some good restaurants.

Welcome to Joe's Apartment....... Gross!!
Ever seen the movie Joe's Apartment, must of been filmed at this hotel. Totally infested with roaches in and on fridge and microwave, all over the bathroom. in the nightstand near the beds. I didn't sleep to afraid they would be all over me. we actually kept our bags in our truck so they would not get in our stuff. it's in a great location if you can get past the bugs.... Never again!!!!!

In general my experince at this otel is ok, clean room, great location, but the attitude for the guy in the front desk was very rude.

Good location but poor room situation
We check into a room with heater which was not working, the female hotel stuff keep telling me there is nothing she can do and manager on duty is out for the weekend, it tooks us more than one hour to keep talking to her on changing to another room as the air is cold after turning on the heater for one hour. The room in first floor appear to be clean until we found out several small cockroachs running around at late in the night....another sign of poor pets/cockroach control. Would not recommend the hotel unless manager/owner change..

my time there was amazing and outstanding i have told so many others about the value , experience and overall pleasure i got from this visit i look forward to returning there i have an upcoming trip back to that area n late jan/early feb. when i get the exact date, i will definately book there again n the future, i will always consider travelodge first when making reservations i have never stayed w/u n the past i used to stay at four pts., hilton, or marriot related hotels that visit has changed my opinion and i will return thx so much for a great experience

need more training
my experience was bad....1st the management was rude and not friendly...2nd gave me a key to a room that had people still in the room!! walkway was full of bird droppings!!! will never stay there again
