Award-winning property, walking distance from the beach
The Super 8 Galveston has won "The Pride of Super 8" designation several times. Located just one-half block from the beach and the Galveston Seawall, the motel is just minutes from the Cruise Terminal and conveniently located near several other area attractions, including Moody Gardens and the Schlitterbahn Waterpark. Guest rooms at the Super 8 Galveston include free Wi-Fi, and a complimentary continental breakfast awaits guests each morning.

Good family motel

Was clean,near the beach,good value,contintal breakfast- alittle skimpy,but ok. Getting in and out alittle tricky but manageable. Price was right.

Galveston Fun & Steve Martin

Checked in after a day at beach, we were hot and sandy, the room was so cool and clean. That was wonderful. In the evening we went to The Grand Opera House and saw Steve Martin and The Steep Canyon Rangers. Fabulous show. Then we ate at the Rainforest Cafe. Outstanding weekend.

Great Location

Staff was very friendly and accomodating. Walking distance to beach very comfortable mattress and pillows! Serta! Gotta get me one.. For the price and the location I had a great stay..

Beach getaway

Excellent Hotel just yards from Seawall

An excellent hotel just yards from the Galveston Seawall. Very nice facility, good service, and nice and quiet. Walk to the beach; just minutes to the Strand and tons of great restaurants. We'll be back!

The owner yelled at us!

The owner screamed at my girlfriend in her room and yelled at me. She told us to "Get out of here!" I never have been treated like this anywhere!

Geat location for a GREAT price!

The hotel was only a block from the beach! Near downtown too! The staff was helpful. For the price we paid it was great![...]
