The Super 8 Galveston has won "The Pride of Super 8" designation several times. Located just one-half block from the beach and the Galveston Seawall, the motel is just minutes from the Cruise Terminal and conveniently located near several other area attractions, including Moody Gardens and the Schlitterbahn Waterpark. Guest rooms at the Super 8 Galveston include free Wi-Fi, and a complimentary continental breakfast awaits guests each morning.

last minute romantic getaway

Was disappointed with the facility overall. Was fooled by the reviews / pics into paying extra to stay here. Was not expecting the Hilton but it seemed cheap and tacky. I won't stay here again.

Resting before Cruise on the morrow

Everything was perfect. I will definitely stay here again. Had a nice relaxing evening before getting a good night sleep to get ready for our first cruise.

FILTHY

This is by far the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in when we got to the room after a long day of traavel we were exhausted, took off our shoes and laid on the bed, my kids socks were just as black as night after walking into the bathroom I checked mine.. BLACK we had to wear shoes wherever we stepped. The Breakfast provided was a joke rotten fruit and stale breads....

great value, good location, satisfactory lodgings

This was a pleasant Super 8. Everything was OK and we would use it again even if we had to pay a litlle more than the great deal we got for about $50 a night for two.

Good family motel

Was clean,near the beach,good value,contintal breakfast- alittle skimpy,but ok. Getting in and out alittle tricky but manageable. Price was right.

Galveston Fun & Steve Martin

Checked in after a day at beach, we were hot and sandy, the room was so cool and clean. That was wonderful. In the evening we went to The Grand Opera House and saw Steve Martin and The Steep Canyon Rangers. Fabulous show. Then we ate at the Rainforest Cafe. Outstanding weekend.
