Inn at the Waterpark

room was nice but when we tried the (Micro) was not working, also light switches were mixed we'd have to keep one on in order for all of them to work, we were not told of this, plus their swimming pool was dirty, water was cloudy for 2 days,it wasnt til the our last day (third day) that i actually notice water had been cleaned. also they had put a family with several children above us so it was pretty bad noise wise running jumping and I did complain.

Nice stay for the price. Very clean rooms. Close to everything.

The hotel was average. It was not super nice or super bad. The front desk did not have my reservation number from [...], and I had to go online on my phone and get the number for them. I have never had to do this at any other hotel I've stayed with through [...]; generally I give them my name and I.D., and they pull up my reservation with no problems. I don't know if this was the hotel's fault or a fault of [...]. Overall, I would stay there again, but the hotel did have some room for improvement.

I was charged quite a bit more for this hotel than what the hotel themselves offered for the stay. When we got to our room it was extremely dirty. There were stains on the carpet everywhere, the bed spread had brown goo on it. The couch, and chairs were all stained and the air conditioning had mold growing on it. Needless to say it was not what I expected after having paid almost $200 for one night. [...] There is a newer section that is supposed to be really nice, but the hotel is not putting any of the money that they are getting from the outrageous prices toward the older section. They could at least try to get the stains out of the furniture and carpets. I will never stay there again.

I stayed in the new addition. It was very nice and the mini golf was a plus. However, I didn't care for the hotel keeping my card on file for a future stay.

We stayed at this hotel because it was close to Moody Gardens and a short drive to the beach. When we drove up I was worried by the outside appearance of the hotel - the grass was grown up and everything looked dead - but was surprised by the cleanliness and recent remodeling of the room. Everything is very basic - no "bells and wistles" - but it was okay for the price. I was very disappointed in the pool area. The grass was dead and grown-up and the pool was very dirty. Also, there were "undesirable" people at the pool that were not guests (overheard their conversation) and they easily got in because the gate was bend and could not shut/lock.

Great price for a very clean and roomy stay. Everything you get at places like Holiday Inn, Embassy Suites and the like. The only complaint is that free breakfast is just Ok. Serves cold cereals, plain bagels, mini blueberry muffins, coffee, milk and juice. Also, we had bad neighbors that kept us up at night but just call front desk and they take care of it.

Bed was a lil uncomfortable but aside from that, it was fine for the one night I was there.

The hotel staff were great... the tower location had HUGE beautiful rooms.. LOVE IT!! Our only problem was the obnoxious people above us.. apparently a parent fell asleep (assuming she was wasted since it was mardi gras) and let her children race back and forth through the room above us.. all we could hear was stomping, a chair being dragged, and yelling. We were not the only ones who complained.. and when we complained.. we would hear louder stomping and someone kept prank calling our room. If it wasnt for inconsiderate people and disrespectful adults, It would have been perfect.. next time i wont go when there is mardi gras. Once again... the hotel staff was awesome and the rooms were huge and very clean!!
