Hotel close to Galveston main attractions and the beach
Just steps from Offatts Bayou, a favorite spot for bird watchers, and a few minutes away from the beaches of the Gulf of Mexico, the Days Inn Galveston is economical and convenient. Easy access to both strand and seawall. The door sounded like it was open so could hear the traffic on 45/broadway coming in. Toilet would run if didn't jiggle handle.

Clean facilities with no frills

My wife and were running a 5k on the beach. The hotel was in a good location, but it was priced a bit too high. The shower had just a trickle of water. We were very disappointed. Other than the shower, the room was fine.

Not A HAPPY Guest

My stay was not very statisfying due to when entering the room, the room did not smell pleasant. I understand the rooms are closed majority of the time but the room doors or windows should be open at least once a week to air the rooms out and cleaned day to day or at least once a week. The towels were hard and ruff. (straching your skin) If you need clean towels you have to exchange clean towels with the dirty towels from your room.. And not only exchanging the towels out but you have to take them to the front desk yourself for the exchange. Having a lil small get away from home and you still have to work... Not A HAPPY Guest!!!!

It's OK

The staff was really nice and helpful. The only problem was it looked scary with all the abandoned properties next to the hotel. I would book this hotel again with family and my husband only; never alone or just with the kids.
