Super 8 Fort Worth/Downtown Area

Located off 35W, 20 minute drive to Stockyards and downtown. Hotel room was quiet considering proximity to freeway. Breakfast was a bonus, usual continental breakfast. Only problem, apparently there was a soccer tournament that weekend and there was not nearly enough breakfast tables to support all those parents, children and other guests - very crowded and waiting times. Short drive to fast food - long drive for better dining. Any other weekend and it would have been great.

I reserved this room via an online travel source on a very short notice. After making the reservation, I contacted the hotel requesting an early check-in. They were more than willing to allow an early check-in. The room was well appointed, clean, quiet and comfortable. I applaud the staff of this hotel for their assistance.

My room was clean, big and quiet. The staff was extremely informed and helpful. I am very happy with the stay at this Super 8 and recommend it to any going to Ft Worth.. Well worth the price a bargain in fact.

After settling in, the room was quiet, extremely clean and just as described by the hotel's website. We did have some problems, the mini fridge was not working at time of arrival. There was not a microwave in the room. Had to hunt down an iron.

We enjoyed our accommodations very much. The front desk gentleman was very helpful. The breakfast was delicious. Easy to find and located perfectly for the attractions.

Clean, convenient but need to have a car. Staff nice and friendly. Staff let us use their computer to print off tickets which was lovely. Thanks!

LOCATION: There was ample parking. The hotel is located right off of I-35 with easy access to I-30 as well. The hotel is quiet even with the close proximity to the Interstate. FOOD: serves a great free breakfast. Waffles, biscuits, sausage and gravy, coffee, cereal, bagels, etc etc. No eggs or bacon but otherwise good. ROOM: This was a clean and quiet room. AC was cold and the TV had the usual channels. The bathroom was very clean and had the usual free stuff. I plan on staying here next time I am in Ft. Worth.

Needs Febreeze and a hallway revamp to remove the smoke smell. The room directly across from room 200 is a smoking room. It actually started to make its way into the room slightly. Secondly, the a/c is not central, so be prepared if it is August(It is currently October) to take a couple of hours to cool the room down. It finally cooled down in two hours after starting the cooler at 5pm and was comfortable thereafter. This room was very soundproof, so that is a plus. The high speed internet, has a high upload speed with the direct cable. Uploads were 1Mbps and downloads were 1.5Mbps. New counter-tops, drywall and shower/bathtub made this improved. This used to be some other hotel before the "Plus". The hotel just needs a little more to make it a 3 star as indicated. It is worth the discounted price range($65-70).
