Great Value
Even though it appears a little off the beaten path on an industrial road, it's actually a very clean, well-kept facility next to an office building, tucked between two highways and right off an exit, and less than 10 minutes from downtown Fort Worth. Coffee at breakfast was surprisingly good. Room was a minisuite: spacious and clean. The only downside was the ac fan: unbelievably loud. It was probably just my room, though. Overall, nothing fancy, but great value for the money: I'd stay there again.

Just a night getaway
The rooms are large and do have a great suite feel to them, but there were a few problems upon check in. They placed us in a room that had not yet been cleaned so that was a bad start. But the hotel was nice, like the review ordinary nothing great at all. The shower was broken where it was either scalding hot water or freezing cold water. Also my view was a parking lot, literally thats all 2nd floor and a parking lot a very ugly one. But overall value was good, next time I might spend the extra $50 and stay at omni.

Nice rooms, nice staff, nice location
Moving from NY to Texas and had some house hunting to do. This was our 3rd trip to this hotel and each time the service was great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast wasn't too bad either-just don't get the eggs (they were rubbery). It's in a great location; close to the botanical gardens, the zoo and TCU university. It's also approx 15 minute drive from downtown-we took a cab, which the hotel arranged for us, so we could have dinner and drinks and not worry about driving. One downfall is that there is no restaurant or bar on the property, however there are many bars and restaurants within 10 minute walk and even a pretty cheap mexican restaurant accross the street with nice outdoor seating if the weather isn't too hot. We do not have kids, but there were plenty of families with kids. The pool is small but nice, but during the daytime it is way too hot to use. We went swimming in the evening and brought a bottle of wine down with us(don't know if we were allowed to but no one said anything).

Short drive from hotel
Joe T's is a great mexican restaurant located downtown near the stockyards. We took a cab and sat outside (be aware of temperature because it can be pretty uncomfortable even in the shade). The margaritas are delicious and coming from NY the prices were really cheap. The food is plentiful-no appetizer is needed and I have never been able to make it to desert! After dinner (or before) you can walk to the stockyards-it's about a 15 minute walk.

Great location for the price
This particular Marriott was located just a short distance from downtown. Although the location was right off I-30, it was very quiet. The personel there couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. I will definitely stay there again and will recommend that my family and friends do the same.

Nice selection of restaurants and fast food places, supermarket, banks, and service stations all within easy access. Traffic flow was definitely easy on the nerves.

Good and Bad
My daughter had a dance competition at the Will Rogers Collesium. Very close to facility. Nice shopping around hotel. Although, hotel sits back and is not very accessible. Parking was scarce. Had a parking garage, but didn't feel safe. The hotel itself was nice and clean - staff was friendly - even let us check in an hour early! However, sits very close to freeway and railroad tracks - very noisy. Didn't get much sleep. Breakfast was so so. Thought it would be a little better. Expected a little more for the price!

Great Location
The room was nicely decorated and clean; however, being so close to the highway there was traffic noise and it was difficult to sleep. The location is great near the arts district and Will Rogers Coliseum.
