Anniversary getaway

First, I want to say the staff was nice and made an effort to accommodate, but the hotel itself was another story. A) the lobby itself is not connected to the rooms, meaning you have to walk outside to go the lobby;b) the AC unit was a hassle and loud;c) only one elevator worked, and it was slow. If our room was not on the 6th floor, we would have taken the stairs ;d) the food was ok, but salty. Room service did offer us dessert when we were asked our opinion of the food. We did try to make the most of our trip, but honestly, I think for the price this hotel was not with it.

Good Clean and Convienent

The raddison was a very good place to stay. the staff was friendly and helpful (we needed directions a few times and they were quick to help). The only downfall I have with this hotel is there was no continetal breakfast, we were in a hurry to leave everyy morning and did not have the time to sit down and eat at the resturant.

HORRIBLE

I will NEVER stay at this hotel again!!! My husband and I thought we were getting a nice hotel and it ended up being a roach investing motel!! I would not even bath my child in the bath tub because there were roaches coming out of the cracks!!! I will not ever go back to their hotel chain!!

Nightlife tip: In Hotel

The place was hopping, altho there was also a prom (???) or such function going on which made for some unnecessary loudness in the lobby as these young people loitered in the lobby.

Radisson

The hotel is showing its age. It was a decent stay. This hotel is better suited for couples without children.

Very good value

After 20+ years of flying in to DFW to be with family at Christmas, we decided to try the "air + hotel" deal and not stay with relatives. Our first try was definitely a success--the hotel was about 25-30 minutes from the airport, close to family, and right on the highway I35 junction with I820. We checked in about 10 P, had no trouble and were told our booking was complete and paid for! There was a convenient access to our room via a side entrance, parking was free and easy. Please bear in mind this was a special situation for us: Visit was late Fri-Wed (Xmas day the following Friday), there evidently was low occupancy at the hotel. We know the area very well--someone trying to visit the stockyards and noted museums, would probably not be happy in the north Fort Worth location. Also beware: I 35 and I 820 interstates have huge traffic slow-ups during peak hours of the day. Best find: Driving west on Meacham from the hotel, we spied a little Mexican restaurant. We bought a dozen tamales, wrapped them up and froze them at my brother's house, and took them back with us on the plane to Philly. What a treat! Re-cap: This is a 3-star hotel; location is several miles North of Fort Worth. The bathrooms are updated with the new style granite tops, but the elevators look a little worn (but we never had to wait for them!) No complaints about the service, but we only saw them when we checked in. We very much just "came and went", without using very many of the hotel's amenitites.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

There were several fast food places within walking distance of the hotel. We even met with our family at a breakfast place one morning. Place seated 14 of us on a WED morning.

Did not honor discount rate

[...]On a previous stay they ran out of bedding and didn't offer a solution. This hotel has great potential if managed as the national hotel line that it's supposed to be. The rooms are beautiful, the location is great, the resturant crew and cleaning staff are excellent and professional.I have had the best results when walking in without a reservation than when I book in advance. The price was greatly reduced and the service much better when I just stopped in, but who can travel like that?

Great Hotel

The hotel was central to where we were spending our weekend and that was great. The rooms were large and spacious, clean and the bed was so comfortable. The staff was nice and friendly and check in and out was quick and easy. The only thing that suprised me at all was that with all of the hotels that offer free breakfast or a continental breakfast this one did not.
