Room smelled. My clothes smelled when I left room. Hard to find, but nice location..

Hotel was full so I was not able to get a non-smoking room. The service was great and the room met my needs.

overnight stay only. Easy, quick check-in, texted me travel directions, easy on/off the freeway. Was not far from a grocery store. Nice neighborhood; felt safe.

Just south of the Cultural District, right on the hike and bike. It's easy access to downtown. Nice, clean, comfortable. Can't beat the price for all of this.

Booked a smoking room online, however, upon check-in the smell was too strong. The front office staff accomodated with a room change, and we were very grateful.

I really love Homestead Suites in Fort Worth on University, for the price you truly can't beat it.. i've stayed there before and I always go back, there's a full sized refrigerator a stove, coffee maker and a table/counter that gives you space for eating or whatever... I stayed there one year where my son and his father and I had to have Christmas dinner there - beds are comfortable, the place is clean the front desk service is generally friendly. well worth it, you won't really service too much as it's a self sufficient sort of environment.. good for those who want a comfortable clean place where you can have your own food and like to be left alone - highly recommended.

WE HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE. I BOOKED THIS HOTEL BECAUSE IT IS VERY CLOSE TO THE MEDICAL CENTERS AND I WAS HAVING SURGERY THE NEXT MORNING. I AM HANDICAPPED AND NEEDED A WHEELCHAIR ACCESSBLE ROOM WHICH I WAS ASSURRED BEFORE I BOOKED OR I WOULD HAVE BOOKED A DIFFERENT HOTEL. UPON ARRIVAL, NOT ONLY DID THEY NOT HAVE AN ACCESSABLE ROOM, THEY DID NOT EVEN HAVE A GROUND FLOOR ROOM WE COULD HAVE. THEY GAVE US A 2nd FLOOR ROOM (THERE WAS NOT EVEN AN ELEVATOR OR LIFT FOR A WHEEL CHAIR BOUND PERSON) I AM ABLE TO WALK A LITTLE SO I HOBBLED UP TO THE SECOND FLOOR TO THE ROOM - WRONG ROOM NUMBER !!!!IT WAS IN THE NEXT BANK OF ROOMS OVER !! SO I HAD TO HOBBLE BACK DOWN THE SATIRS AND I MANGAGED TO MAKE IT UP THE STAIRS TO THE NEXT ROOM ON THE SECOND FLOOR. THE ROOM IS OKAY AND WILL DO FOR THE NIGHT BUT I HAVE MY VERY EXPENSIVE MOTORIZED WHEELCHIR ON A LIFT ON THE BACK OF MY VEHICLE IN THE PARKING LOT. I CALL THE FRONT DESK AND ASKTHEM IF I COULD JUST LEAVE THE CHAIR AT THE FRONT DESK OVER NIGHT SO IT WILL NOT GET STOLEN SINCE I CANNOT BRING IT IN THE ROOM WITH ME. THE CLERK SAYS "NO" ORIGINALLY!!! I MENTION THAT THE CHAIR COSTS OVER $5,000.00 AND THAT I HAVE THE CONFIRMATION FOR A HANDICAPPED ROOM IN MY HAND AND THAT I HAD SEEN NO LESS THAN 3 HANDICAPPED ROOMS RIGHT THERE BY THE OFFICE THAT WHERE UNOCCUPIED ON THE GROUND FLOOR THAT SHE COULD HAVE PUT ME IN - BUT SHE REPLYS THAT ALL OF HER HANDICAPPED ROOMS AND FOR THAT MATTER ALL OF HER GROUND FLOOR ROOMS WERE RENTED OUT FOR THAT MATTER - BUT FOR ME TO HOLD ON FOR A MINUTE AND SHE WOULD DO SOME CHECKING AND CALL ME BACK. I TOLD HER I COULD MAKE DO WITH A REGULAR GROUND FLOOR ROOM. SHE CALLED BACK IN SEVERAL MINUTES AND STATED SHE HAD A CANCELATION AND IF I WOULD TURN IN THE KEYS SHE WOULD PUT ME IN IT. WE TURNED IN THE KEYS AND I HOBBLED DOWN THE STAIRS YET ONE MORE TIME AND MOVED TO THE DOWN STAIRS ROOM. I WAS ABLE O MANUVER MY WHEEL CHAIR INTO THE ROOM FINE AND IT WAS JUST FINE. WHY COULDN'T THE DESK CLERK HAVE DONE THIS UPON OUR ARRIVAL ? IF I HAD FALLEN WHILE TRYING TO WALK TO EITHER OF THE FIRST TWO ROOMS, I WOULD HAVE HAD TO CALL 911 AS I AM UNABLE TO GETUP ONCE I AM DOWN. THIS IS A VERY SERIOUS SITUATION AND I AM VERY CONCERNED. IF I HAD NOT BEEN SO TIRED, IT HAD NOT BEEN SO LATE, I WOULD CERTAINLY HAVE TRIED TO CHANGE HOTELS THAT EVENING.BUT IT SHOULD NOT HAVE TO COME TO THIS. FOR THE ABOVE SITUATION AT THIS HOTEL I BELIEVE THAT THE DESK CLERK COULD HAVE AVERTED THE ENTIRE SITUATION. AS I SAID, I SAW AT LEAST 3 ROOMS RIGHT THERE BY THE OFFICE THAT WERE HANDICAPPED AND EMPTY. IF THEY WERE BOOKED, RENTED OR WHATEVER, THEY WERE NOT BEING USED ON 8/3/2010. NOW IF THEY WERE "BLANKET BOOKED" OR WHATEVER, BUT EMPTY, COULDN'T THEY HAVE BEEN POSSIBLY SUB-LET? IDO NOT KNOW, BUT I DO KNOW THAT THERE MANY ROOMS IN THIS FACILITY THAT WERE EMPTY, AND WE WERE TOLD THEY WERE FULL!!THANK GOODNESS I DID NOT HAVE A NEED FOR ANY EMERGECNY HELP[...]

The hotel and staff were wonderful. I checked in late to find out that the room I purchased through [...] did not exist. They worked with me to find a suitable room and[...]Location walkable to coffee and shopping as well as hike/ bike trail. Great spot.

Experience was standard for a low service property but we requested a non smoking room... it was a smoking room and we were told that if we requested non-smoking and the hotel was booked that we would be switched to smoking automatically. Smoking rooms smell disgusting and everywhere I went I smelled like stale smoke!

This hotel is 10 mins from city centre(nothing to see down town) and $15 cab to stockyard district. Its not flash but ok for a night. There is an apple store across the road where you can get internet. Would ring this hotel and as what your getting in your room as it might be different to what you book on website as ours was for the first night but then they were nice and changed us for second night.
