Beautiful Hotel

The room is like a suite. Very large bathroom, living area, and comfy bed with large flat screen. Was impressed by the conceirge service. Had wonderful fruit/vege flavored fresh water in the lobby. Close walk to all the activities of sundance square.

Hilton was Good, Orbitz not so much

The Hilton down town Ft. W was an "OK" experience except for the fact that Orbitz did not hold up to their end of the deal. The MAJOR component of my reservation was a NON-SMOKING room. We ended up in a smoking room and the hotel was over booked so we couldn't switch either day we were their. The hotel tried to accommodate by spraying some good smelling chemicals, comping a breakfast for two, and giving us 2 free drinks. Only negative thing about the Hilton was the $20 per day for valet parking. Their justification for 20 bucks a day is that it is "unlimited in and out". But what about the people who don't ever pull their car out except to leave to go home?? We still pay the same fee. I rate ORBITZ a 0/5 and the Hilton 4/5.

Worth the price paid

Clean, orderly, and staff polite. Didn't eat there so I've no opinion on food served. Location very good, for Ft Worth. Wouldn't hesitate to book here again.

Nice stay

I went to Fort Worth for a wedding taking place downtown. The hotel was conveniently located within walking distance of restaurants and shopping, and only a short, uncomplicated drive to the venue. The room was comfortable and clean, but I was disappointed that amenities that are usually free at other hotels were quite costly: parking, wifi, and breakfast. I had to use the business center computers in order to get free wifi (which was only free for 30 minutes - not much time when the computers were so slow). I needed to print out boarding passes and directions and was charged a dollar per page. Overall, the hotel was beautiful, and comfortable, and since my stay was very short, I only had to pay parking for one night, so I did not feel too bad about the price of valet parking (the valet parking attendants were very good).

Great Stay

My husband and I showed up at 11:30 pm after our wedding. We had booked this hotel months in advance. The hotel overbooked. We should have called beforehand to let them know we'd be checking in late for our brief honeymoon, but we were in from out of town and in a big rush for our wedding. Alas, they thought we weren't showing up. Upon arrival, they regretfully informed us we would be staying at the Crowne Plaza-away from downtown. The plaza was terrible and our night was ruined. The next day we returned to the Hilton. The Hilton staff were informed of our situation , apologized for the inconvenience and provided us a complimentary night. The stay was lovely and comfortable at the Hilton. Our room service was great. The bed was heavenly. There is a Starbucks on the first floor and you are in walking distance of wonderful restaurants and nightlife. Downtown Ft. Worth is cute. Although short, our stay was romantic. The Hilton definitely made up for the first night.

Nightlife tip: Short walk from hotel

Great lights, restaurants and bars within short walking distance. There is no self-parking for the Hilton. Valet parking is 18 dollars a day.

Really Great Hotel!

I was at this hotel for two nights to attend a professional conference hosted at the same hotel. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. They have delicious strawberry and orange infused water in the lobby at all times and it is YUMMY! They have a great concierge staff and I was appreciative of them being willing to take care of and store my luggage before and after check in and check out time. I'd love to return to Fort Worth for pleasure and stay at this Hilton again. Kudos!

good

We had a good experience overall. It was a little annoying to pay over $200 and not be given a mini fridge with our hotel. But satisfying overall.
