Large room, decent amenities for the price, pool was open but no hot tub, bed was on the firm side but seemed new. Overall enjoyed my stay, would stay again or recommend for overnight or business lodging
The hotel is located just off I-10 East and a couple of minutes from the downtown area. I stayed a couple of days just to rest and do a little sight-seeing before heading back home. This just may be the best Days Inn I've stayed in. The room was
excellent: clean, comfortable and modern. I stayed in a non-smoking room and it smelled like a brand new room! I hate to say it, but I also really liked the big flat screen T.V. The motel is definitely well taken care of; doesn't look tired! I would stay here for a week and if I'm ever back that way again, I'll stay here.
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
Short drive from hotel
Head in to town (turn left out of hotel then left at red light) if you're looking for a place to eat other than McD's. If you need gas, go to town and save about 15 cents a gallon
