reservation problems

Made a guaranteed reservation for two nights through[...]Motel cancelled room after one day, went to room for second day stay but found reservation was cancelled and the motel sold out. Women working there said with a big happy smile that even though I did not check out had to come in second day to continue reservation. Nothing in writing about this not told of this policy. Had to go to another motel and even though I paid extra for a nonsmoking room had to settle for a smoking room at another hotel.

Great place and rates

Very affordable and clean. Privacy respected and very roomy and loved the little kitchen area. The only thing I would have liked is to be able to have my car visible from our room.

Great location, some issues

THe room was ok, if a little dirty, as far as the walls had yellowing and black spots where the trash was apparrently at on time against the wall. The tv remote worked if you stood right in front of the tv with it. The biggest problem was that the door key didn't always work. We got stuck outside late at night after seeing family, and it was below freezing, and took almost 30 minutes to get the door key to open the door. This happened on several occasions, and was not a great experience.

There were 3 restauraunts in the same area. Denny's, Gunthers Eidelwiess (excellent german cuisine), and a whataburger. All had good food and a friendly staff.
