Military Visit
The location of the hotel was good. The breakfast was ok but over the weekend we had to take our food back to our room since there was not enough seating. The hairdryer in the room stopped working and the front desk acted like I was stupid when they questioned the test and reset buttons. When I came back to the hotel later that day it was replaced. All in all it was a good visit, I loved the king size bed and the mini fridge.

Staff worked to make you feel at home
The staff at La Quinta were very friendly and did their best to make me feel at home. I was traveling away from my wife, and during breakfast one of the staff noticed that I was eating alone and so personally spoke with me so that I would feel welcome. I was only there one night, but the room was comfortable and the access to I-10 made staying there most convenient. One thing I didn't like about the location, however, was that it was next door to a strip club. If I had had kids on the trip, I would not have wanted to explain what that building was. (The signage was very obvious when you drove up).

I was sooo wished that I had traveled with my gun.Even though it would have been a hassle to check it through security it can be done. I should have brought it.Very scary place.I'm 6'3" 247 lbs and I was not comfortable.Pipes are loud,people yelling at each other. Sounds like a place in the projects.[*]I had no idea it was there.don't eat the continental breakfast. I used to work restaurant management and it is a filthy place.

In a pinch...
Cheap and adequate
My first room smelled so badly of cigarette smoke I requested another room, which was provided. Did not feel comfortable going barefoot on the room carpet (dirty, large animal urine stain by door, ants in the bed). Getting internet access was impossible in the room, I had to go to the lobby when I wanted online. Only thing that kept me there was the price.

Very nice, I got a great deal...
I was very surprised at how nice this hotel turned out to be for the price I paid. They have a very nice free breakfast, and a great location. My only complaint would be the stains on the carpet in my room. Very friendly staff...I was very pleased.

It was kinda weird that the hotel was located right next to a strip club, but it was close to alot of different things. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly.
