Comfort Inn Edinburg

The room was very clean and the restroom was awesome and was very roomy as well as the rest of the unit. I would like to have a better television compatible with HD channels. The breakfast was excellent.

When I arrived at the motel, the woman at the front desk was very helpful. The first room I had had a broken lock, but it was very easy to get a new room that was also non-smoking as requested. The sheets were questionable in places but the bathroom was very nice. The shower wasn't the usual tiny, little thing either. The "breakfast" was another thing, not satisfactory at all. There were hardly any options even at 7:30 though there was a large group already there.

The room was clean and looked very welcoming. Decided to stay and extra night even though family offered a room in their home. I felt very comfortable at the hotel. This place is very well maintained.

our room was not available at check-in. then they were putting us in a smoking room even though we specified that we had to have a non-smoking room. so after they finally found another room for us, when we walked into the room it smelled like it had been drowned with an aftershave spray or something.thank goodness we had febreeze. the painted walls looked horrible.

The stay was good, the hotel was clean as well as the room except for the pool it was a little dirty says my wife the front desk was courteous and friendly. I will stay again when I visit McAllen Texas ABN

I specified a non-smoking room with Orbitz when I booked the hotel and when I checked in, the room was obviously a smoking room. When I asked for the hotel management to change it, they were willing, but they charged me an additional $20 out of pocket (keeping in mind that I already pre-paid Orbitz) to have a non-smoking room. The front desk employee sort of shrugged and said "Orbitz and other sites promise this sort of thing all of the time and we don't promise them anything." I was quite ticked off and will definitely think thrice before booking another hotel reservation on orbitz.com

Upon entering room, floors were stained, sheets were dirty, what looked like a spot of dried blood on the vanity wall, tissue stuffed in the peep-hole of the door. I felt that the last tennant that stayed there was up to no good. After recieving a little attitude from the desk-clerk, we arrived to a different room that was much cleaner. Pillows were rather small for my liking. Breakfast was satisfactory.

The Comfort Inn was good for the price. It is located in a somewhat secluded area but is just seconds away from the highway and minutes away from the one of the main roads (10th Street). The pool area wasn't very inviting and parking seemed scarce. I would only recommend this hotel for short stays (1-3nights max).
