A Pleasant Stay
The Fairmont Hotel in Dallas is perfectly situated if you are travelling anywhere in the surrounding metro area. My stay was pleasurable and complimented by knowledgable, friendly, and courteous personnel. I have and will continue to reccomend this hotel to friends in the future.

great downtown location
I come to Dallas several times a year. I have season tickets to the opera. The Fairmont is a very central location for all that I do. The YMCA is in the next block for me to work out and swim. The Windspear Opera House is just a few block away. Great restaurants Cedar Springs area. Love the Venetian Room.

Flew in for a mavs game. Walking distance to American Airlines Arena and JFK site. Clean rooms. Vallet parking was pretty steep, you really don't need a car if you are just staying down town.

Warm & elegant.
As a foreigner who does not drive I have found very convenient the proximity of the hotel from the Dart system - although I have used taxicabs a lot. I stayed at the hotel from October, 27 till November 4, 2010, with the only purpose of enjoying a little bit Dallas. I mostly did sightseeing and shoppings, but I also visited museums and the superb Dallas Cowboys new stadium (a must).

The atmosphere is elegant and the staff is very friendly and attentious. The room is cozy and the meals are really tasty. People who don't drive will consider its location very convenient.
