The Fairmont Dallas is part of the Fairmont Hotels & Resorts brand, a name synonymous with classic luxury and time-honored tradition. Opened in 1969, the hotel is widely considered one of the original luxury resorts in the Dallas area. Guests can visit the rooftop to chill by the pool beneath the bright Texas sky. In the evenings, the Pyramid Restaurant & Bar offers alternative dining - straying from typical Texan fare, dishes like the pressed octopus, Berkshire pork belly, and kaffir & chili crusted ostrich are exotic changes from the traditional steak and barbecue.

needs minor work

It was a good four-star hotel. three negatives: The ventilation in the bathroom did not work The heating system blew just cold air instead of hot air Or maybe I could not figure out how it worked but I don't think that's the case only Valet parking available

Fairmont suite

Restaurant staff A+ Housekeeping A+ View. A Location A; walking distance to Art District, museums, trolley, businesses, and churches Good water pressure and hot water Very quiet room; no noise or problems even with high school teams in the hotel Beds too soft Food and Internet are pricey Close outside restaurants close 2pm and open again after 5-6pm Great trip. Would go back again. We went for art, opera, and church.

Busy hotel - busier than I had expected. Staff was very kind in getting me to a room early. The rooms were quiet and absolutely comfortable. Very good for business travel.

Lovely hotel

It's right in the city centre which is great, but there's not a lot happening in the city centre of Dallas so I may consider staying somewhere closer to the Bishop Arets District next time. The hotel was lovely though. Very comfortable. Friendly staff. I had a very enjoyable stay there.

Wonderful experience

Conceirge was very helpful!! The rooms were wonderful!! Our son used the fitness room and loved it. We looked at the terrace and it was beautiful. Wish it would've been warmer to enjoy it. The service at the bar was almost non-existent and very expensive.

Reviw

Flew in for a mavs game. Walking distance to American Airlines Arena and JFK site. Clean rooms. Vallet parking was pretty steep, you really don't need a car if you are just staying down town.

Great vacation, relaxing and site seeing

This trip was great. The sixth floor and surrounding sits were within walking distance, you can take a free trolley or use the bus and trains to get around for shopping dinner Museums etc. Coffee on the other hand is just too strong to enjoy for us. This trip is very different, normally we go to a beach resort, this vacation was for us as a couple instead of a family vacation.
