Only 1 issue
The only issue we had was when we arrived to check-in they were not able to locate in the system not even with the conformation number. We had to forward the conformation email to the hotel. It did not take longer than 10 minutes though to locate our reservation other than that it was a great place to stay. The staff was amazing.

Excellent Downtown Hotel
Stayed at the Magnolia during our first trip to Dallas. Since I was running in the Dallas Marathon, the location was perfect, only a few blocks from the start and finish lines. Very friendly staff, handled all our needs. Free breakfast is very comprehensive. Would definitely stay at the Magnolia again

Great night!
We truly enjoyed our night at the Magnolia. The amenities and room condition/cleanliness were great. The only negative we encountered was something I had read in other reviews - we stayed on a Sunday night and hoped to sleep in the next morning. Downtown trucks and construction noise made that nearly impossible - to no fault of the Magnolia. All of the staff were pleasant and accommodating. We hope to return!

Not cheap but good location
I had a late (midnight) arrival and business early the next day. The room was nice but aged enough to have character. My fourth floor room looked out on some sort of mechanical equipment and a skylight to the lobby below. There was plenty of mechanical noise that kept the room from being totally quiet. The bathtub faucet didn't shut off completely. The hotel offered valet parking but if you want to park yourself you have to use a nearby garage. The location was perfect for me. I could easily walk to my meeting.
