MCM Elegante Hotel and Suites - Dallas

Great family place and the staff was very generous.

when checked in the desk clerk couldnt tell me where my room was nor have a map nor try and find a map. me and my 2 children walked around for 30 min trying to find the room and finally went back to front desk that got the security guard to show us where our room was, which was outside in a seperate building. the room service menu had been changed and therefore the first attempt was incomplete missing and entree and then had to argue with kitchen manager about what my menu said it came with due to his didnt and then refused to guive a free orange juice to makeup for mistake and i still had to pay full price. the hotel was unable to provide any maps for the area and couldnt tell me if they had coupons for attractions, which upon checkout we found 50% off coupon for six flags that we wanted to go see but couldnt afford it, but c ouldve if we wouldve had that coupon that was in the front desk area. i talked to the desk manager and explained the problems. he gave excuses for the night clerk instead of some form of action plan. he was very nice and did give us a free night stay and 24.00$ credit on room service.. the hotel doesnt have an emergancy exit plan nor map of emergancy exits anywherer in hotel. The room was wonderful but the housekeeping never changed out the coffee or sheets we had to go find them for those things. If i were to visit dallas again i WOULD try MCM hotel again just for the fact that the desk manager and owners wife were so polite and genuinly helpful. they need better trained staff for front desk and some maps of hotel property and better setup for the tourist attractions for their guests.

Nice room for the price and staff very friendly, lots of restraunts near by.

Nice, clean room. Comfortable beds. Excellent complimentary breakfast. Courteous staff. Would stay here again.

Was there for a training session and the hotel did good on that. The room was fresh and comfortable. Food was great at the resturant.

Don't use a debit card, you will get charged $50 extra as form of deposit for accidentals and then you will have to wait to get it back and it can take forever.

better than expected! a few minor glitches but nothing the courteous staff didnt have fixed promptly and courteously! i will definitely return to this hotel!

I booked online through orbitz based on the pictures and the claims that this was a very nice Hotel. When i arrived my first floor room overlooking the pool ,That i had paid extra for was not ready. I was asked if i minded taking a second floor room still overlooking the pool, no offer of any of the extra money i paid for the first floor room was made, still i agreed. When i got to the room, which was out in the back of the nicer tower, it looked like a very run down motel. After going back to the desk and having to go a bit psycho i was finally given a decent room in the area of the hotel i was led to believe i was purchasing in the first place . Will not ever stay at this place again, simply becausethey tried to do me so badly , as this is a very shadily run place.

I took this hotel through an special offer of 50% off that Orbitz sent to me, probably i wouldn´t take it normally because i was looking for low prices, but definitely if i´m looking for confort in exchange of giving a little bit more money, i would take this hotel with my eyes closed! Excellent breakfast (buffet), good service and a lot of good restaurants on the area! The only thing is that my room didn´t have a small fridge wich i always require haha the pool area and the entrance to it have some opportunities, the rest is OK!

I enjoyed my stay at the MCM this past weekend. Stayed there for 3 days. I came to see some old friends from college and when I lived there for a while. The bed was super comfortable. They give you some pillows that are soft and some that are firmer you'll love them if you stay here. After hanging out with my friends all day and night I loved coming back to that wonderful bed. The room decor was "hotel nice but nothing special". The front desk also all very nice. Several restaurants from fast food to dine-ins to satisfy any tastes. I do wish they would get rid of the air conditioner below the window in the wall. No matter how new they are they are a little noisy when they cycle on & off. Nice flat screen tv but the channels were not to my taste but I didn't come to watch tv. There was free parking with security about and free fast wireless. Close to the expressway which made for easy access to downtown and you can't hear it from your room. The expressway did make a good view from my room. I was in room 422 and the tub and sink were slow on the draining. No major. Also, along the wall in the bath room the paint was peeling. I guess from moisture. The free breakfast buffet was what you expect eggs, hash browns, fruit, sausage, bacon, toast, pastry, juice, milk, make your own waffles, french toast... Nice size pool. I would reccommend and I will be back to stay there.
