unprepared for holiday business

We booked a room for the Kaboom town fireworks show, July 3rd. Several things made our trip one we will not repeat. 1. asked for refrigerator for medication, we received full of left over food from previous user. 2. went to have drinks in the bar. Service was very slow and seem to be not caring if we received customer service or not. 3. was told there would be a DJ outside and music for the fireworks show you can see from the pool area. No DJ and no music 4. went in after fireworks were over for a snack, the bar was out of food and we were told to get our food from room service not enough wait staff . We wanted to sit in the bar enjoy a drink and have some food. This was not able to happen since no food could be had.(very disappointing) Over all the trip was ok but for the money we could have stayed home, we wanted a little extra special service.

It was satisfactory.

The hotel is not as nice, as it used to be, and does not compare with the quality of the Intercontinental in Houston. I disliked having the hotel put a hold on my credit card when my room was prepaid.

Lots of promises, none true,

The promises made while booking were not honored,We live in the same city as hotel all we asked for was a room facing fireworks, couldn't get it. Was told I did,I don't know where the problem was, either 3rd party booking or just flat out lies, I feel like I wasted all my money.Whole family was disappointed, complete waste of hard earned money. The moment we arrived my son found a piece of razor sharp metal that was twice as thick as a razor blade, smaller than a sugar cube we are lucky he did not find it with his bare foot,E.R.room is where we'd have ended up. The management was so tired of me trying to get what was promised, they wouldn't take my calls from room, Used cell and the mgr.said he'd done all he could. WASTE OF MONEY!!!!

Great stay!

Great hotel! One of the most comfortable pillow/bedding combinations I've ever slept on. The only downside was no refrigerator in the room (other than the mini-bar.)

Great location

The hotel was very quiet and was not very far from the Galleria and resturants. The only problem was there was the smell of sewage coming through the bathroom sink.
