Great Vacation Stay

Comfy Room and great area for a convention. The room was very comfortable and the staff accommodating. Subway, Cindi's Deli, and a few other good restaurants are in walking distance.

Will never stay here again

Outdated and nasty! I will never stay here again. I was told they are going under a major renovation. I was not offered anything for not being happy with my stay.

Hyatt Regency Dallas at Reunion

Good business stay and nice amenities This was a comfortable, well laid out hotel. I had a wonderful view of downtown Dallas skyscrapers from my hotel room. The Reunion Tower, adjacent, features the excellent Wolfgang Puck 560 restaurant and spectacular views above the rotating tower. I ate in all three restaurants; service and food were excellent. All hotel staff were responsive. My king pillow top bed was divine; felt like sleeping on a cloud!! The only drawback is it is right adjacent to all the train tracks at Unionn Station, so there is a lot of train noise at night. Also the small outdoor pool, while in a private setting, is practically on a huge interchange of super highways, so the air is not too pure there if you want to relax poolside. The work out facility is very adequate. A bit isolated in terms of shops and other restaurants, but I guess the DART system can be easily utilized to get to busier shopping areas. Altogether a quality experience.

Business

Two things that kept this hotel from excellence was the lack of easy to access outlets in the room as well as a coffee pot that didn't work. However, the staff was helpful in all ways and took coffee room service charges off the bill for me.

Great location

Near DFW, in downtown Dallas. The hotel is nice and clean. Only complaint is the $9.95/day internet access.

Dallas Meeting

The convention rooms and my room were great. Coffee was available all day, fresh and more imprtantly very good. Occasional ran out of milk for the coffee (only cream). Food at the hotel was also superlative.

Could have been better...

The hotel was very classy appearing however the service was subpar at best. Multiple attempts needed to be made for any action to be made. For instance, my room was not cleaned properly for several days and I had to ask not once, not twice, but three times for someone to come take a look.

Nightlife tip: Short drive from hotel

The location is very quiet and about five minutes from every "hot spot". I would spend extra and stay somewhere uptown because downtown is the place you live not the place you party.

2-star hotel... maybe

- $22 valet parking - no included WiFi - ac/heater not working, took 2 days to get it fixed - very uncomfortable mattresses - observation deck closed... for 5 years now we were told - pool the size of a large hot tub - constant train noise if your room is facing east - staff is nice, but everyone gives you different and misleading information - hotel is located between a freeway and a train station... no easy pedestrian access anywhere - overall quite rundown, very worn furniture, elevator noise in rooms... I'm sure this used to be nice hotel 20 or 30 years ago when it was built... but not any more.
