Eclectic and charming
Interesting hotel - nicely remodeled, with a very comfortable bed. I had a great experience with the desk staff. Check in was a breeze and the staff was attentive to a small problem with a broken iron. The driver was very professional and served as a tour guide on the way to our destination. It's on the east side of town, making it convenient to Deep Ellum and the Majestic, but with the courtesy van, the West End and Uptown were easy trips too. One note: If you expect a view, ask for a room on an upper floor. The lower floors offer only the garage across the street.

Excellent location and historic charm!
Excellent location for walking in the west end and attending a show, at either the Majestic Theater or house of blues. Free service Shuttle was timely and staff were eager to make the stay pleasant. Would stay again for a weekend getaway!

Refreshingly different
Lobby and rooms were nicely decorated with pleasant colors and appointments. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was within a walking distance of West End, Aquarium, Sixth Floor Museum and other attractions for those that enjoy medium to long walks. Complimentary transportation to within 3 miles of hotel was offered and readily available. Rooms were on the small side but comfortable, pleasant and clean.

Great hotel
Our trip started out business but we decided to stay of couple of extra days and check out the city. The outside of the building does not do the hotel justice. But when you walk in, it is a whole different experience. The brightness and the aura of the hotel are exceptional. Your senses are taken by surprise from the cheery colors and wonderful scents throughout the hotel and rooms. It is immediately calming and relaxing. I love the "zen-like" theme and feeling. The rooms remind you of a bed and breakfast, but with more of the amenities of bigger hotel. Of all the hotel chains that we have stayed this is the best one.

Dining tip:
Short walk from hotel
A lot of different restaurants are within walking distance. You will have a hard time trying to find any fast food type restaurants. There are a few sub places. Plus a few places don't open on the weekends or close early.

Hotel Indigo
We used valet parking upon arrival and didn't need the car again until we left Sunday - walked around the corner for dinner at the Dallas Chop House (very nice) and then around the corner to The Majestic Theater to see Herman's Hermits (fabulous show!). The hotel was lovely and most everybody was very helpful - only two complaints: (1)our room was by the elevator and we heard noisy people during the night and (2)four other people walked out to get their car from valet parking after us but we were the last one to get it - quite frustrating. Can't say anything about the hotel restaurant since we didn't eat there.

Good place to stay
No complaints. Room was comfortable and looked nice. Bed was comfortable and staff was helpful. Only complaint is the 20 dollar parking they charge when there are many 2-4 dollar parking garages around.

A hotel with a twist
The Hotel Indigo, Downtown Dallas is a nice place to stay; surprisingly the colorful decor along is pleasant and worth the stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I would recommend taking time out to enjoy the hotel for breakfast and their various coffee, tea, etc. There are also some close by eating establishments within walking distance from the hotel. There's even a little shopping in walking distance as well.

Cute Botique
The Hotel Indigo is VERY EXCELLENT for the price we paid and on short notice. Its very botique'ish with very comfortable beds and great decor throughout the hotel. Very excellent location near Neiman Marcus, Majestic Theather and plenty of other Dallas hot spots. Loved the free wireless internet.
