Dallas/Addison Marriott Quorum by the Galleria

We had booked a package including a car rental and so would expect to have parking included. This was not so we had to pay extra. Staff - the concierge staff and valet parking staff were very friendly and exceptionally good. The rest of the staff were not. We had requested a room away from the highway. When we checked in we were told that the room was quiet and was airline certified. However, the traffic noise was quite loud. Had to buy ear plugs for the next night. The rooms were not cleaned too well and these were cleaned quite late in the afternoon (4pm). Towels requested were not delivered - had to ask the cleaning staff for extra towel. The food that we had in the bar was really good. We will not be staying at this hotel again.

When we checked in we realized to our horror that there was some type of soccer convention going on for the entire length of our stay. We were put in a room in the middle of a hall full of teenaged, stinky soccer playing boys. The ice machine and soda machine on the floor were already out of order when we checked in the room. I went to the front desk to request a change to another floor since we didn't really feel comfortable with the initial room assignment, (we are two 30 something married women) and inform them of the out of order vending machines. They graciously provided us a room on the top floor. When we got in the room we were pleasantly surprised to find we had been upgraded to a suite at no extra charge. The room and floor were peaceful and quiet for the remaineder of our stay. The only complaint was that the kids didn't have any etiquette for using elevators and it usually stopped at every floor and then no one would be there to get on when we stopped. The room rate included free internet access and buffet each day (a $30/day value) for free. It is in walking distance to several fun bars/restaurants as well as the Galleria and quick highway access. This was our 2nd stay here in 3 years and look forward to future visits.

Rooms were clean and hotel was close to numerous restaurants. Short drive to Arlington, Texas for the Dallas Cowboys stadium.

From check in to check out it was a wonderful overnight stay.

I had been to this hotel before & we had a much bigger room for the same price we paid for this one, which was very small. [...]

First key didn't work so back to desk. Second key worked but room was not clean. Third try a success. Front desk staff polite and helpful.

The [...] booking meant that Marriott did not have my rewards number, gave NO elite night stay credit, and placed us in a much lower grade room.Nothing wrong with the hotel--I have stayed there before. Just that second class citizenship is as fun.

We attended a New Years party that was located near Dallas Love Field. They stay was very comfortable, and we LOVED the bed!! We didn't stay there too long, but it was great! Did I mention I LOVED the bed!

We got the free breakfast package. The breakfast was amazing. The room was beautiful (the view wasn't great). The staff was very friendly. The location was literally around the corner from several restaurants and opportunities for fun. However, the shuttle was frustrating. The information book said it'd be open until 12. The front desk said 11. But, when we were leaving the pub after midnight for New Years we saw another couple being picked up by the shuttle as we were getting in the car. And you're given 2 coffee pods, but 1 cream, 1 sugar, & 1 SweetNLow. That wasn't enough for my husband & I to have 1 cup of good coffee.
