Good value for the money
This is a good value for the money, but just know what to expect. It is more of an extended stay location than a regular hotel, and it is pretty basic. There is no lobby to speak of, no restaurant and no coffee shop. But, the staff was really friendly and helpful, and there is a pretty nice fitness center (mostly cardio and one small universal weight machine--no free weights), a laundry room and a mini-mart with microwable food and snacks. Every room has a full kitchen so people do cook in their rooms--the lobby had a mild cooking odor when we first arrived, but the rooms themselves were odor free. Overall, the rooms were pretty nice--clean and comfortable with nice mattresses. My teen-age son and I were there for a three-day soccer tourament (at Richland College, just a few blocks away--very conveniently located for us) so we wanted a one bedroom suite where we could spread out a bit. [...]I would also recommend getting a room that doesn't face out to the road if you can, as there is a bit of road noise especially if you're on the first floor (although it was muffled by the air conditioner fan, and wasn't too much of a problem for us) Although this is by no means a luxury hotel, our stay was pleasant and served our needs.

My review of Candlewood Suites DALLAS PARK CENTRAL
Room was clean, comfortable and recently remodeled. Only complaint pertained to room air conditiioning system - was somewhat noisy.

Friendly staff
THe peolpe above me had children that ran around in the room all night stumping on the floor. The hotel staff warned the about twice, it did not help and finally, I have to move to another room so I can get some sleep about 2AM. The manager in the morning gave me the stay free which was nice of him.
